Obama has said..
"And what I want to do is build on the 5 million jobs that we've created over the last 30 months in the private sector alone."

PolitiFact | Barack Obama says his administration has created 5 million jobs

So explain the following:
if there were 5 million jobs created, why is there 17,000 fewer employed people in the USA?

I'm not guessing here! Follow this link to the Notice: Data not available: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
to the Bureau of Labor Statistics

Download the xls file like I did!

At the end of 2008 there were 143,350,000 people employed.
As of September 2012 there were 143,333,000 people employed.

So where are the 5 million jobs created???? if there are 17,000 LESS people working???

Ohh they are the same place all those jobs Romney promises are.

Vaporware for fools to believe.

Partisan hacks do not believe facts they believe their current hope and changey messiah.
Be it a TP candidate, RINO or Librul.

Maobama lost them, then he found them again, bingo, 5 million jobs right out of thin air. It's like those 500 trillion in tax breaks Romney is going to give to 124,000 families, accdording to slow Joe today. You know that's more than 40 billion per family. It's all pulled out of their commie asses.

Out of his ass!!!!!
Its like the new metric jobs saved......noone used it before OBama.....

You might want to refigure that. Obama did not become president till Jan 20, 2009.
for those of you who skipped Civics class in HS. Or is that class next year for you?

We know that, but in 20 days he didnt create 4 million+ jobs.....and since most data is a calender year.....we'll have to use a margin of error

FactCheck: Obama’s inflated jobs claim

5.2 million new jobs? The real number is about 325,000

Obama started his term 1/20/2009. In January 2009 there were 140,436,000.
In July 2007 there were 147,315,000 people employed .
In Sept 2012 there were 143,333,000 people employed.
There are 3,972,000 LESS people employed in Sept 2012 then in July 2007.
How can that be if 5 million jobs are created?

I think you should just ask a simple question.
What happened to the 3,972,000 people that were working in 7/2007 versus 9/2012
IF 5 million jobs were created??
Wouldn't there be more then 143 million working?

The president doesn't create jobs so I have no idea. But I did find that number interesting. FactCheck is off which isn't unusual. But in this case not by much. I actually sat down and crunched every number from 2009 on a bit ago. And I came up with 317,000. So yes the President can claim there are more jobs now. But I doubt he wants to talk about the roughly 15 million folks who came of working age during that time. Would make the actual unemployment number look reaaaaal shitty.
