Exoplanets and Astrobiology

It's best to follow etiquette. One poster invokes "OB star" but does not define what it is for readers. This is like nomenclatural etiquette: it's not approved to use the first letter in a Latin name of a living organism until it is first completely named in a previous part of the text. For example, stating that " A. rubrum's genome has been published," is incorrect etiquette. "Acer rubrum's genome has been published," is much more acceptable as a rule of etiquette.

OB Star

In post #80 we mentioned possible cirrus clouds on a TESS exoplanet. That planet is TOI-2445 b (or 2445.01). This is indeed one that professionals are suggesting that the James Webb telescope targets once it is up and running:

Validation of 13 Hot and Potentially Terrestrial TESS Planets
'....The goal of this paper is to identify a sample of small, hot, likely terrestrial planets that would be favorable targets for emission spectroscopy observations with JWST....ESM (emission spectroscopy metric)....TOI-2445.01 ESM: 13.0 +/- 2.0.'

On the political front, Elon Musk is getting more experience for Mars, while the space station falling onto the Earth will not occur over Russia, because the station's trajectory does not move over Russia.

Musk Activates Terminals Over Ukraine
'...."Elon Musk, while you try to colonize Mars -- Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space -- Russian rockets attack Ukraine." '

Russian Space Chief Slams U.S.

When analyzing this politics, intelligence with an IQ over 80 should likely separate NASA from the CIA.

Colonization of the Moon will target its South Pole to harvest resources from a crater. This developing astrobiology will include competition for innovations:

From what I know, it seems we are stuck on Earth. We'll discover we can't live on the moon, Mars, nor an exoplanet. Maybe a space station (limited to few humans, not a civilization). Why? I think it's lack of a magnetic field besides the lack of the right oxygen, water or atmosphere.
