Don't show this to sky dancer, it will send him/her into a tailspin and he/she will head for her therapist for a hug.
makes a lot of sense !! especially the part about the disciples being willing to die after the resurrection !!:eusa_angel:

you will have to wait, the Moromons have first dibs

That statement really makes no sense whatsoever.

I can add my own witness to evidence of the Resurrection. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Rose from the dead because the Spirit revealed it to me. I cannot say otherwise without lying and denying my own experience.

It is interesting that you mentioned Mormonism. Because I could use many of those same arguments to argue for the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the Restoration. But then again, It's the same God. He acts in the same ways. And the Book of Mormon is a type of Jesus Christ. So why wouldn't I be able to?

the bible says it is inerrant... therefore it is inerrant.

sure... that's "evidence".

why is it so difficult to admit that it's based on faith?

First, no one has claimed here that the Bible inerrant. We are talking about the Resurrection of Christ, not the Bible.

Second, even the Bible doesn't claim that it's inerrant.

Third, there is no need to admit that faith in the resurrection is based on faith because it's self explanitory. But Being based on faith doesnt mean there is no evidence for it whatsoever. And that's what we are talking about. Evidence.

According to the bible many of note were raised from the dead at Jesus's crusifixation. Why is Jesus celebrated for his resurrection when it was so common then?

Because His was the First. His was the cause of the others.

Bummer..clicked on the link looking for proof. Just saw supposition.

Back to the drawing board...

You really should learn the difference between evidence and proof.

The linked claimed evidence

The link provided evidence.

Your belief or doubt in the credibility of that evidence doesn't change the fact that it is evidence.
