Obama stands a good chance of getting re-elected.

Because he never should have been elected in 2008 IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Romney is the only GOP candidate (incl Christie) who can take Obama out.

FDR got reelected in 1936 with 25% unemploymnet.......................

List of prez candidates better than Obama who never got elected

How about Sen Henry Scoop Jackson of Washington state

A democrat COLD WARRIOR who the Soviets feared..........
Didnt have obamas charisma

Knew more about foreign policy on little finger than obama could ever hope to learn.........

always voted for him

Actually, it was 16%. More to the point, FDR had gotten down from a high of 25% when he took office. So he could actually point to progress.

More to the point, the GOP had largely ceased to function as a political party. Between the 1930 and 1936 election cycles, the GOP went from 57 seats to 18 seats in the Senate, and 213 to 88 seats in the House. They were done. They wouldn't take the presidency again for another 16 years.

If Romney's the nominee, I'll vote for Obama. The lesser of two liberals.

Seriously, you don't win elections by admitting that the other side was right. Romney is admitting that the Democrats are right on everything they did, on a vain hope that you can get independents to like your Weird Mormon Robot better than they like Obama.

Say what you want about Obama, if it's a personal popularity contest, Obama will win that one hands down. Even people who don't like his policies admit he's a nice enough guy.

Romney looks like the guy who lays you off.

But the unemployment rate wasn't published back then. All the Unemployment figures for the Depression were calculated in the late 40's. They didn't even have a set definition for "unemployed" in 1936.

Okay, if you say so. I suspect you forgot to add the NOT to your sentence, right?

STill either way, the above is a statement of opinion and as such cannot faulted logically as either being be wrong or right.

It is you opinion.

Obama gets bashed on the economy - but he s equally inept on foreign policy.

If the unemployment rate reaches double digets in Sept 2012 - watch the Obama admin and the lib media cook-the-books to keep it in single digets.....................................................

How? How exactly would the books be cooked? I've thought about what it would take to fudge the numbers, and it's really not possible to do.
