Russia is squeezing Europeâs gas supplies, sparking a bitter and reluctant return to coal

Germany, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands have all indicated that coal-fired plants could be used to compensate for a cut in Russian gas supplies.

Why doesn't Europe just move to Green renewables instead of coal?

Expecting the Russian Federation with whom they are belligerent with to provide their fuel needs is sort of unrealistic.

But moving to windmills like they have in the Netherlands is a tremendous , real and non-hypocritical answer to their dilemma. Why don't the Europeans care about Global Warming any more?

Europe seems smart enough to realize that there isn't enough green energy to make the transition. It looks to me like the progressive idiots in the US are the only group in the world who still believe in the green energy fairy tale.
