Obamacare sign-ups continue to increase - latimes.com

WASHINGTON — Growing numbers of Americans are signing up for insurance through President Obama's health law, with more than 250,000 selecting a plan in November, according to a new government report.

That is more than double the number in October, when problems with the new HealthCare.gov website made enrollment virtually impossible in most states for long stretches of time.

Last month's tally is fueling renewed optimism among supporters of the Affordable Care Act who believe that fixes to the federal site will rescue the law, commonly known as Obamacare, from its disastrous debut.

OH NO! Something that will make the GOP wring its hands and worry over the holiday season! THIS COULD BE DISASTER FOR THE GOP IN 2014!

From the unread article,

"More than 250,000 people selected plans in November, a report says, more than double the number in October. But errors in transmission may complicate enrollment....

The November enrollment figures still leave the Obama administration far below its target of enrolling 7 million people in health plans, though administration officials expressed optimism they will hit that number."

ZOMG!!!!! 6 MM Lost their insurance and 250,000, many of who are also Obama Twitter followers, signed up!

That's so successful!

Can't you feel the drama?!

The biggest campaign cry from the GOP is beginning to slip away. If the system is working better and better into 2014, and the enrollment increases dramatically, then it is going to be very hard for the GOP to use the ACA in its congressional campaigns.

Frank, you are carrying the Republican banner. I expect nothing less from you.

So people being lied to means nothing ? why do you ignore the millions that are being forced off of existing policy?? but getting your way is all that counts right?

Once again - JimH52 is a victim of this administration and the media spin.
Signups....what are they?
Well, to the White House it is anyone who has signed on and answered all of the questions.
THEY count this as an ACA member.
Are they???......of course not. They did not buy anything, they reached the point where they were told what it cost - and they did not continue.

And once again folks like Jim here - fall for whatever they are told.

Working better does not mean working in a satisfactory manner to the public. Only better than before, which isn't worth much in the real world.
A 50% improvement on a piss-poor performance is still piss-poor, especially when nobody can prove they are actually able to file claims.

Except they weren't lied to. At least not by the President.

Those policies were sold after the law was enacted by providers that knew full well they'd be swapping them out and blaming the law.

You guys went apeshit over a website which was provisioned to handle the traffic of several states, not over 36 of them. And hiring rules were set up by congress.

So Conservatives basically set this up for failure..and then started crowing when it failed.

Trick is..the President stepped in and got it working.

Faster, by the way, than Medicare Part D.

Not only that, but just because someone does sign up under the exchanges doesn't mean they did it by choice or that they like it. Many people are trying to sign up because they lost their coverage thanks to ACA. Then there are people who signed up thinking it would be a great thing, and found out that it's expensive as fuck and the coverage is often worse.

But that matters not, chalk it up as a "success" if you are an Obama knob slobberer.
