The regional conflict can’t go on forever
It must end and it don’t look very peaceful

Israel has the superior Air power
Iran through has tens of thousands of missiles they can launch into central Israel

I hope there is no war

The Middle East is to the modern world what the Circus Maximus was to the Roman Empire. "Round 666, fight!"

My bet is Iran will become a so called threshold country. They will have all means to produce nuclear weapons in the shortest terms, but won't actually produce them.

It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. When they get their nuke warheads, they have to be taken out first, no waiting around for them to take the first shot; they already have so that isn't an issue any more.

Its 1300 miles from Israel to Iran. Why doesn't Israel just stop threatening Iran?

Israel is a very modern and technological nation of 7 million Jews
You can be modern and technological but one nuclear bomb can ruin your entire day.

Why would Iran nuke Israel?

***snip***

The Twelver beliefs have raised concern in conjunction with Iran's steeped interest in furiously pressing forward with its nuclear program, combined with threats against Israel and the West. Critics of the Islamic Republic allege that Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Leader would even go so far as to hasten a nuclear showdown and cataclysmic strike—perhaps an attack on Israel and inevitable retaliation—to hasten the arrival of the 12th Imam. Ahmadinejad has even called for the reappearance of the 12th Imam from the podium of the United Nations General Assembly. During his speeches within Iran, Ahmadinejad has said that the main mission of the Islamic Revolution is to pave the way for the reappearance of the 12th Imam.

But Zionist Jewish colonisation of Palestine was a culmination of European Christian efforts to colonise Palestine since Napoleon’s invasion and defeat in Acre in 1799 at the hands of the Ottomans and their British allies.

Indeed, this European Christian colonisation of the country throughout much of the 19th century was the prelude to Zionist Jewish colonisation at the end of it.

The Jewish Christian sects led the way for the Russian and European Aliyahs later on. I like this source since it has the usual lying bullshit Islamo-vermin comedy spin to it, phrases like 'Jews escaping the Inquisition' and other nonsense.

Not really. During the Ottoman years Palestine was sleepy and apolitical.

Ottoman Turks were continually at war with Byzantines in the Levant from the 13th Century until the middle of the 15th. With The Mamluks and Persians in the 16th and 17th Centuries. From then on, they were continuously in conflict with Europeans and their neighbors in Egypt, Lebanon, and present day Iran until the Ottoman Empire dissolved in 1918.

But Palestine was sleepy

In fact, not. For much of the Ottoman reign, they were actively fighting with Byzantine over the region. They had a continuous conflict with Egypt and the Levant inhabitants which, as you already know, is part of that region.

Since the time of the Jewish Kingdom in Palestine, that region has been invaded and fought over by Greeks, Romans, Persians, Egyptians, Byzantines, Ummayads, Abbasids, Fatamids, Franks, Normans, Armenians, Seljuk Turks, Ayyabids, Mamluks, Ottoman Turks, Arabs, and The British.

Over no significant length of time could the region be referred to as "sleepy" and "peaceful".

This may interest you.

As for Palestine, one hundred years ago its population of 78,000 Jews constituted twelve percent of the general Palestine population of 650,000. Between 1946 and 1948 the population ratio altered drastically.

Before 1947, much of the territory that is now Pakistan, a nearly exclusively Muslim nation, was actually inhabited by Hindu and Sikh populations.

The unilateral British Partition of that territory in 1947 caused the migration of millions of Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims to and from the territory. Many of the Hindus, as many as 20 million displaced, expelled from what is now Pakistan and Bangladesh settled in Bihar and West Bengal and remain today impoverished. As many as two million people died in that partition.

The borders between the countries have been constantly disputed and the cause of several wars.

Do you consider Pakistan to be an illegitimate state?
