Empty Store Shelves, High Gasoline Prices, and Inflation

It does not really matter. The fault is not relevant to the political price, sadly.

the democrats will pay if they cannot right this and do so quickly. They have an advantage in that this is occurring now, a year before the next election, but if they do not get crap back on the shelves and Americans some normalcy, they are going to eviscerate the democrats in the next election.

With it being an off year, that can mean a sea change in the congressional makeup. It might be worse for them that is occurring in an off year when the republicans can really take this and run with it.
It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with the record demand following the Covid pandemic.

The supply chain problems will all be worked out long before the next election.

And while so many people are blaming Biden for this GLOBAL problem (or conspiracy in some cases ;) ), they will choke before they give him credit for a return to normalcy.

So you are saying a grocery store owner in Hungary is emptying his shelves to help Biden.

A global plot.

Fascinating.

I'm going to have to interrogate my local grocer and get to the bottom of this.

"All right, man. Where are you hiding the bacon bits?"
No but port policy is. The trucker shortage certainly has some regulatory barriers as well.

Do you think that there is nothing that has caused this here or there is no policies that can deal with it? This is not like the oil thread, there are local variables here that have a commanding influence over the availability of goods. There are clear trade practices that also play into it. Biden may not be the source of those things but he is the arbiter of change for them right now.

So we can agree this is a World issue that look like will be lingering into next year…

So what are World Leaders going to do to correct this and when stuff like this happens it tend to lead to a World War…

lol, well, yes the right will not give him any credit. The right is not relevant, the center is. THEY will give Biden credit if he rights this.

And it does have to do with politics and policy. Just because it is a global problem does not mean there are not local issues exacerbating it.

As you can see below, consumer expenditures are at an all time high. The pseudocon propagandists would be praising Trump for this if he were in office, because this is tremendously good news for our economy.

As a result in this spike of spending and consumerism, the number of shipping containers and the number of container ships at our California ports is also surging tremendously. This is overwhelming the system.

You can best show your love for Regime Xiden by voluntarily paying double for anything you buy so you'll have less money to throw away on frivolous things like home heating, electricity, driving. And you'll be SAVING THE PLANET through your poverty.

Feeling noble yet?

You do know what you're dealing with around here? Starts with a capital "M"

It's a thread to point out inflation, empty shelves, and high gas prices are a global problem, not a Biden-induced problem.
America sets the economic stage for the civilized world...As America goes so goes the world....

What would you say if Trump were still president with this sinking economy?....

What would you say if Trump were still president with this sinking economy?....
The economy is not sinking. Trump would be bragging about the record stock market, plummeting unemployment, record consumer spending, and how he got everyone to stop saying Happy Holidays.

He'd say the supply chain problems are an indicator that we are a victim of our own success because we are buying more stuff than ever.

He'd be holding rallies and would have doctors and nurses at those rallies to administer the Trump Vaccine™ and Tucker Carlson would be encouraging everyone to go to the rallies and get the shot.

Come on dude CNN?...you must be kidding....
Do you think they made it up? Are you that desperate to deny reality? Hasn't this topic taught you anything?

And just in case you are about to claim Russia and OPEC cut production because of Biden, they did it to Trump, too.

To prop up the oil price, Russia has been cutting its production since 2016 — depriving itself of much-needed revenue, while the shale producers have ratcheted up their production at higher prices they didn’t help create.
