Edward Bernays and our last presidential election.

Many Americans are losing trust in government. Permanent Washington has been in the process of selling them out for decades. It has control of the media and even worse, it has corrupted the education of our youth to an extent that life expectancy in the world’s foremost first world country began declining long before the Covid-19 pandemic. A lot of what is going in the US educational system was learned from the Nazis in the 1930’s and the work of Edward Bernays who published the book Propaganda in 1928.

Bernays saw that entire societies could be controlled with an invisible agency of government tricking the people into believing that true democracy could only be attained by central oppression dispensed by a tiny nucleus of self-enriching aristocrats stealing the freedoms and liberties of the people with elaborate and carefully planned public relations campaigns. In other words, Bernays concluded that top tier government existed solely to dumb the people down to exploit them for power. After the recent brazen theft of a US presidential election in 2020 by US intelligence and a federal postal service, it is obvious to any reasonable observer that Bernays was way ahead of his time.

Sadly, many people in the US swallowed the government-advertised explanation of how a candidate that cannot articulate sentences any better than a common drunk and did not campaign, got more votes than any politician in the history of the world. These are the same kinds of Madison Avenue suckers that watch the Super Bowl with bated breath waiting for the best commercials. The fact that about half the US population has been turned into morons is not an optimistic commentary on our times.

Those with normal brain function could see that Donald Trump was an “existential” threat not to democracy but to government. He was just not a government team player willing to “play ball” with lowering the intelligence of the people to sell the shop-worn product of propaganda that had worn out its welcome here. There was so much money and power at stake that the government had no option but to step in and force-feed that election down the throats of the people.

Bernays really knew his stuff and his embracing of “propaganda’ and its cousin, “public relations”, was seen as a good thing for capitalism. The Nazis liked it too. Now we see it might not be all that good for democracy, but probably too late.

Well said, sir.

The most disturbing aspect of this is the stirring of emotions to promote a line of thinking.

There is an interesting paradox in play today that is going to test the wisdom of the masses against the the plans of those in charge. Before the great pandemic, distant populations were invited by our leadership to make pilgrimages across vast territories into the midst of our communities. The purpose is to replace problematic domestic demographics that cannot be depended on to support government policies.

The people see that their living standards are being lowered by these policies so they resist by not voting for status quo candidates. The government reacts by demonizing not just the leader that leads the flock away from those that shepherd the flock but the flock itself that follows the new leader. Those that defend their livelihoods are depicted as mean and selfish perpetrators while children dragged across regions at the behest of government are victims. This is classic propaganda methodology-they are bad and we are good.

Now the paradox:

There is a worldwide pandemic in play that kills the old, the sick and the weak. Throwing down borders to displace incorrigible voting blocks is tailor made to spread a deadly pandemic. So, if these policies rejected by the ousted president, are renewed, the new administration will be embarking on an extermination campaign to make way for new Americans more suited to government global policies. Out with the old and in with the new-It is cold but it is perfect for the planners.

This is where Bernays' propaganda or "public relations" comes in. It will be perfectly safe to do this based on the "science". It will be for the good of all. That is how propaganda succeeds as the ousted leader is libeled and smeared as mean to children.

So much going on in the USA today is a mirror of what happened in Germany leading up to Nazi control and WW2

Just as Leftists today are unknowingly supporting authoritarianism, so did Europeans before WW2

Absolutely true. For years myself and many others have been loudly warning other Americans around the internet and IRL about the similarities between both the French Revolution and the rise of Nazism to the radical American Left relentless attack on every aspect of American life and government. We all said, until our voices cracked, "History is repeating!" Almost no one who heard or read our message would listen to or heed it beyond shaking their heads and smiling stupidly. Now the final lead up to Fascist America is nearly consummated and there's little left to be done to prevent its full implementation.

Cancel culture, the attack on free speech, agitprop turnspeak, growing antisemitism -- it's all there.

What's also there is the painful lack of resistance to all of it.

Yep.

Even an attempt to articulate the actual issue is becoming increasingly verboten as any attempt to combat the obvious authoritarianism elicits calls that the person who objects to the fascism is the actual fascist. We see this turnspeak on the forum all the time, as the true believers use it in exactly that way. It is especially apparent in the discussions revolving around covid where these uneducated twits accuse anybody who thinks people should have the right to run a small business the fascist while they are the ones wanting to grind them under their jack boot.

Yes indeed, and well stated. Millions of Americans continue to dig their own mass graves even knowing soon armed men standing behind them will gun them down and toss them in those ditches like so much firewood.

I was dues-paying member of the Steelworker’s Union for twenty years before I went to work in local industry. That world is gone now, and I guess I can blame myself for not paying closer attention to miscreants that compose our national and domestic leadership. I, like you, have questions that will never be asked by your tin horn city newspapers and Hooterville radio stations that are the new loudspeakers for the People’s Republic of China.

If anyone is wondering how a candidate like Joe Biden that cannot articulate sentences any better than a common drunk and did not campaign, purportedly got more votes in an election than any politician since the beginning of time, they may want to look up Edward Bernays, the father of public relations. I ran across this man in my research and his work in the brain-damaging arena of early advertising explains a lot in our contemporary world. First of all, any reasonable mind knows that Biden did not get those votes and the election was rigged with the assistance of a pandemic and a willing, hostile postal service that saw Biden’s opposition, Donald Trump, as a threat to its continued existence.

Permanent Washington viewed Trump in much the same way and many in Trump’s own party were so attached and beholden to Beijing-influenced lobbyists that they stood whistling and shifting their eyes away like the people of Nazi Germany while the Jews were walking by the band on their way to the showers.

The Nazis were quite impressed with Bernays and they used his methods to dumb down the population and incite them against all opposition much like permanent Washington has done against Trump. Bernays wrote his famous book Propaganda in 1928 just as the Nazis were rising. They set fire to the Reichstag and blamed it on the Communists much like Biden supporters stage managed a rag-tag infiltrated throng of frustrated citizens and labeled it an attempted insurrection. This was the power of advertising or “public relations” that Bernays was pedaling and it solidified him as a man way ahead of his time.

The American people are still reeling after a brazen, stolen election that took place in broad daylight. Now the Bernays effect goes nuclear as a political third-world trial is the next step. Show me the man and I will show you the crime.

Study Bernays and you will understand.

What we are witnessing is a grand illusion fostered by the powerful to protect a system that funnels the world's wealth into the hands of a few. The absurd alternate reality projected by US intelligence agencies that a man that stood for nationhood was a threat not just to to national security, but to world peace has the validity of cartoon.

Yet is is bought by people who rather than think for themselves prefer to be told what to think. It is as laughable as it is dangerous but it is nonetheless real. Study this and learn from it. Realize that freedom of thought and speech are not a natural outcome of human interaction.

These impeachment trials are an IQ test for the American people. If they pass, freedom will endure. If they fail, then freedom will be just a word in a dusty book somewhere.
