The British government said earlier on Thursday it had refused a request by Ecuador for Assange to be given diplomatic status as part of the South American country’s efforts to resolve his dilemma.

Sweden has dropped the charges but the Brits still want to get him for breaching his bail conditions. Ain't that a bit on the petty side?

It's always surprised me that he's managed to keep his Wikileaks going in spite of all this silliness.

Well, Assange launched an attack on the USA all by his little self, and that's playing with the Big Dogs. Now he's on the porch. I sort of like the concept of transparency, but he has to realize the U.S. and all its allies are sure to go after him.

The British are petty. And the Americans can now send a sniper to Ecuador for him, as he will not live at embassy premises.
