Dying man fights to get vote counted...

"Jeff Korinko says his 76-year-old father, Thomas, is a diehard patriot who wanted to be certain he cast his vote this election. It likely will be his last presidential election, Korinko says.

Thomas is dying, having been diagnosed with liver cancer seven months ago. His health has rapidly declined, so much so, that last week he voted by mail. He couldn't physically make it to a voting booth.

This week, he's at a hospice center in Tavares, on and off morphine, and was expected to pass away on Wednesday.

But when he mailed in his ballot, the Lake County Supervisor of Elections Office determined his now shaky, frail signature did not match his voter registration signature and required further verification."

Poor guy just wants to vote 1 last time on his own before he dies....before the Democrats start voting for him after that...

:p

Would think death would negate a mail-in ballot...

... since the voter is either not alive or competent to vote...

... on Election Day.

He was alive when he cast his ballot.
-- When the government receives a mail-in absentee ballot, do they then refuse to count the vote until they confirm that every single person who submitted such a ballot is still alive? NO!

He will be alive on election day...he just MAY not be alive on Wednesday, the day after.

That's sad. Hope the hospice center called and got it straightened out for the old guy.

WOW..... :p

Well, if you only have until next Wednesday it's pretty darn important.

Nah, you people are permanently anxious, afraid, and whipped up into orchestrated masss paranoia.
Be sure to tell that to the dying man who was wrongly told his vote can't count....
