FYI:
Leslie Nielsen's dad was a Canadian Mountie.
I was thinking Leslie was a Mountie before he got into acting, which I thought was hilarious.....but it was his dad.

Yes, the Mountie show.

Just watched a Due South documentary and heard a cute story about Leslie. Paul Gross apparently didn't know how to tie his mountie boots correctly. But Leslie Nielsen was a guest on the 4th episode and he knew how to tie the boots coz of his father being a mountie. So he got Paul straightened out on that and some other things he needed to know going forward.
