The unvarnished truth:

Dozens Of WikiLeaks Cables Show US Knew NATO Expansion Was Russia's Bright Red Line

Yet a review of the public record and many dozens of diplomatic cables made publicly available via WikiLeaks shows that US officials were aware, or were directly told over the span of years, that expanding NATO was viewed by Russian officials well beyond Putin as a major threat and provocation, that expanding it to Ukraine was a particularly bright red line for Moscow, that it would inflame and empower hawkish, nationalist parts of the Russian political spectrum, and that it could ultimately lead to war.

Many were transmitted by then-US Ambassador to Russia William Burns, today serving as Biden’s CIA director. Recounting his conversations with various “Russian observers” from both regional and US think tanks, Burns concluded in a March 2007 cable that “NATO enlargement and U.S. missile defense deployments in Europe play to the classic Russian fear of encirclement.” Ukraine and Georgia’s entry “represents an ‘unthinkable’ predicament for Russia,” he reported six months later, warning that Moscow would “cause enough trouble in Georgia” and counted on “continued political disarray in Ukraine” to halt it. In an especially prescient set of cables, he summed up scholars’ views that the emerging Russia-China relationship was largely “the by-product of ‘bad’ US policies,” and was unsustainable — “unless continued NATO enlargement pushed Russia and China even closer together.”

So basicly we kicked the dog so we could shoot it when it bit back.

I always assume something like this is widely known & simply common sense.
But then I realize common sense isn't so common anymore & most of the sheeple get their news from Mockingbird media so they only hear what the CIA wants them to hear.

War was almost unavoidable once we broke post-Cold War promises to Russia & started expanding NATO into eastern Europe.
The truth is the US wanted this war & provoked it at every opportunity

The CIA has been operating in Ukraine for the last 70 years, including drugs and hookers which helped to assist the 2014 coup.

Russia knows that just as the nazis physically moved Jews, nazis themselves must be physically moved eastward away from Russia's border.

Well done OP and three or four others!

Even though we need to excuse the fact that 'domestic' politics has been the reason why reality of US aggression is finally being accepted.

It's a start!

Let's state the case that brings it all home:
Biden is pushing toward nuclear annihilation if he still thinks Russia will consent to lose on account of US/Nato expansion.

It's been discussed here many times. It doesn't take a leak to understand this.

Yeah, the 2 dogs have nukes. Do you think Uncle Sam can terminate them? No. Unlikely.

But...(2- faced )Uncle Sam always used any means to maintain US's position as the dominant world power. Yeah, the CIA & other secret agencies must work a little bit harder. lol. :)

Tyler Durden is one of the good guys in the world of journalism. The US is now and has been in the business of military aggression for years.

Russia will not back down.

You'd have to be fucking nuts to write something like that. Once again: this is the official account of the alliance.
So to them everything that happens is a comic book and a blockbuster....
They're out of their fucking minds...

It goes to show how unserious these schmucks really are.
If NATO ever has to go into actual battle, the leadership will kill off manage most of the Western world civilians with their dumbfu**ery and still lose the war.
God help the soldiers with the idiots they have in charge
