donor states vs wellfare states

Why is this system still in place? Coming from a donor state, I think it's ridiculous that it makes my state go even more in the hole, and it goes elsewhere. Why don't the Republicans (or Democrats) speak out against this redistribution of wealth? And what are your thoughts on it?

-Military installations are paid for by the federal government, with federal tax revenue-not state funds. If you can find me anywhere where state governments pay for military installations-be my guest.

-The wellfare states receive federal government tax revenue from other states. When a state is a wellfare state-the state receives the funds-not the military installations.

edit: Donor states have military installations too. There's a very big (and I'm sure expensive) one a few miles down the road from me.

get the Federal government out of things from education to farm subsidies to entitlements and this problem may correct itself.
