Hillary is in trouble and she knowes it.

Is it because she is all over the map on her positions, her arrogrance, her corrupt past, or the negative view many voters have of her?

Will she drag Bill out in public to try and save her or will that add to her problems?

Monica Lewinsky was less about a sexual liaison than about the way it exposed the president's lack of dignity and self-discipline. When he lied under oath about it, the personal became the political and impeachmentfollowed. Hillary Clinton dealt with it by turning the personal back to political, inventing "a vast right-wing conspiracy" to blame everything on. We can expect her to revive this fantasy as needed.
For now, she understands that the less said about all that the better. Many women say they'll vote for Hillary because she's a woman, counting on the herd mentality. But this underestimates the thinking women and it's countered by men who vow they'll vote for anyone but Hillary. Campaign '08, once it actually gets here, is likely to be issue-oriented, and fears of Islamist jihad will trump other concerns.
Hillary must be wary about too close an identification with Bill, popular though he is in many quarters. Bernard Lewis, the eminent scholar of Islamist terror, argues that the Clinton administration gave Osama bin Laden the idea that America was weak, indecisive and vulnerable when Bill Clinton didn't respond to the terrorist attacks on his watch -- the first World Trade Center bombing in New York in 1993, attacks on U.S. soldiers in Mogadishu in 1993, the Khobar Towers bombing in Riyadh in 1996, the attacks on the American embassies Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 and the assault on the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen in 2000.
Hillary is nevertheless betting that her husband is more popular than she is and he can raise money and warm up her image. His Southern drawl is the real thing, too. He knows that she knows that he owes her, big. He's her security blanket. But security blankets lead to dependency and when they disappear tears and tantrums typically follow. Freud said both love and work were important in life -- but not necessarily in the same place.

These days, if anything, Bill helps Hillary. Bill ruled America more conservatively than George W. Bush, and with moderate results, so the many problems of Clinton I are shrunken in the mind.

Problem for her is, I don't think people are enough reassured by this. I think people think --- correctly --- that she'll unleash her Secret Socialist Plan once in office.

The real question is "Does Bill Need Hillary?".

Bill would easily be re-elected today as opposed to all candidates rEpublican or dEmocratic. Figure that out for yourself.

November of 2008 will come soon enough for us all to figure that out!!!!!!

Figuring, however, is not a forte' of the American peoples. Many still think they got a tax cut in 2001.

Look at the success Bill had stumping for Dems in 2000, 2002, and 2004 - yes bring him out and let him stump for Hillary

The polls are plain and simple.

Bill did not stump for Dems in 2000, 2002 or 2004. He did step out there in 2006 and look what happened!!!!!!

Read them and weep, rsr.

Wrong

Bill was all over the map in those elections - and most of the Dems lost

Bill was not out that much in 06

I dont trust hillary, I think is two-faced, and will change any view in a moments notice, or based on the latest focus group. Atleast with the other candidates, whether you agree with them or not, atleast they are being honest, and standing up for what they believe in.

Hillary believed in and still believes in Bill.

His weaknesses do not equate to anything like the weaknesses as demonstrated by the current CIC.

Its not that i think this administration is great. I think they have made too many mistakes for my liking. and id like to see some solutions, now dems have the chance to lead, and for the sake of america, i hope they do it.

im trying to make clear, its not about who gets credit. If i want the dems to fail, im being partisan, rather then being, hey, america voted them in, give them a chance, and try to be fair and biased lol :)

bill has his own set of issues, but im glad he is touring with bush senior :)

GHWB and the Man have been touring together for years.

But lets get the issues correct and on target. The main issue in my book is that the current CIC, gwb, wouldn't make a pimple on the Man's ass. Any man's ass.

Dig it? Or maybe you ought to forget it?!?!?!?!?!!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

They have come a long way in the short time they have had the power to do so.

If he is so bad, what does that tell you about the Dems who did lose three national elections to him?

will bill o'reilly. Sometimes he is too harsh. But lets consider atleast, alot of his guests spin too.

He is not as bad as rush, and hannity.

Hannity is right actually most of the time, meaning, he says factual statements, but he has the bed side manor of a horse.

Are you trying out for the Bill O'Really show?

You are not very funny but bill needs all the talent he can get.

Why not try to answer the question?

I remember how libs said in 2002 they would make the Repoublicans pay for "the stolen 2000 election"

Bill wnet to FL to stump for McBride and against Jeb Bush. When Bill hit FL days before the election, it was a five point spread

Bush won by over 12 points

Both Bill and Sean want libs to answer a question

Something that is a very hard job sonetimes

Libs are jealous of both of them - they wish they could have a show as successful as Bill's and Sean's
