Biden picked September 11th as the day we're leaving Afghanistan.
Why?

Oh....I know.....he's gonna claim this was the date Trump picked....so....that sounds like a logical excuse.

Just how retarded is this SOB?

The Taliban didn't do 9-11.
I think the official reason for war was that they gave safe haven to OBL, and refused to hand him over.

Nope. It was a last ditch effort to save ENRON.

Are you old enough to remember any of this?

I knew OBL was responsible before the news even mentioned his name.
I read his interview on Readers Digest and his declaration of war against the U.S several months before. I was 30 at the time.

The symbolism is bad. The Taliban are guaranteed to treat it like a victory.
The Taliban will treat any exit at any time of NATO troops as a victory. Squatting there forever is not an option. They lie. If the Taliban lost a presidential election by seven million votes, they'd lie and insist that they had won it in a "Landslide!"

Taliban was not complicit in the 9/11/01 terrorist attack. The Taliban, as extremist as any fanatics, are an indigenous Afghan problem that has never targeted U.S. interests outside of Afghanistan.

The former guy blew gas about Dubya's bloody, costly quagmire for years, then, when he had four years to do it, failed to do what he had repeatedly insisted must be done.
...Trump called Afghanistan “a complete waste.” He added: “Time to come home!”
In a March 2013 tweet, he said the U.S. “should leave Afghanistan immediately.”
“No more wasted lives,” Trump tweeted. “If we have to go back in, we go in hard & quick. Rebuild the US first.”

We are fighting this war as if we don't want to win it....one hand tied behind our troops back.....fire warning shots when threatened??? that's what the swamps generals are ordering...and we wonder why so many of our men come home with missing limbs...this war should have been over years ago....you must fight a war brutally with everything you got or come home....

3 presidents since him, and Biden will bring them home.

President Biden to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, extending Trump's May 1 deadline
Biden to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, not May 1 (usatoday.com)
Just what Trump was doing....and Trump got beat up for it by his own party and pentagon....
