Does a political person running for office having an event have the right to block the press?

I don't think this is constitutional

I guess they don't want the press to bust them on what they say.

Is the event on private property?

Besides, CBS isn't a news outlet. They are propagandists for the Democrats.
I bet you watch and listen to news that gets their information and talking points from the RNC. 😂😂😂

I don't even have to wager to know you don't have a clue about, well; anything.

I don't watch corporate media. By the quality of your content, or I should say, the lack of it; you eat it up like ambrosia.

If it's a private event they are entirely within their rights to keep the press out.

Sure.

Your event...you can do what you want I would imagine. The press is routinely not invited to all manner of political gatherings.

It is very constitutional. Freedom of Assembly.

If it is a private event, then yes...they do.

There is no "constitutional right" for people to be admitted to private property just because they are part of the press. I guess the reporters could have stood outside on the street and speculate and report on what they think is going on.

The media never had a right to private liberal meeting either.

what’s unconstitutional about it? being a member of the press doesn’t mean you have a right to go places you aren’t invited to

Biden used to have his security lock reports in closets when he didn’t want them mingling with guests a his functions.
