Considering all the hubbub over the "poor" not paying their fair share or earning their income.

It begs a better question: Do the the rich earn their income?

The rich are obviously working very hard to hide their incomes in order to pay as little federal income tax as possible.

Then there are some rich who do not work and do nothing but receive payouts from their trust funds for a living. Do these rich "earn" their income?

a) Haven't we already had an extensive discussion of this?
b) What the fuck is it your business?

Didn't we have this discussion already?

If you save up $100, keel over and die and leave your money to your child YOU earned the money and then YOU gave YOUR money to your child. The money WAS earned. Why is that a hard thing to grasp.

Who doesn't pay as little as they can in federal income taxes? Next time you hit the "donate button" on the IRS website and give more than you have to give let me know.

If you're talking entrepreneurs that create jobs then yes, if you're talking Politicians raping the treasury, no.

The entitlement class cannot grasp actually earning anything, because they never had to try.

It is probably better that you not engage me in this discussion. You will learn nothing because it is clear from your original question and your response to him that you have no interest in discourse only rhetoric. Rhetoric is the weapon of the small mind and a symptom of a failed ideology.

actually, the hubbub you refer to is about "those that are not poor need to pay their fair share"..

and the response is "those that are not poor pay most of the taxes in the country"

and the irony of it all is that those that are not poor rarely use welfare, food stamps, medicare, and other entitlements....but that is another story.

But no one is saying the poor need to pay more taxes. What we are saying is come up with something more accxurate than "the non poor need to pay their fair share"

And as for the topic at hand....exactly what business is it of ours to discuss whether the rich earn their money?

Yeah, you're so smart you don't even recognize a spoof when you see one.

Keynesian economics, the only thing the left knows, and to prove their ignorance, they keep trying it over and over even though it fails miserably each time. Makes you wonder if they truly are really ignorant, or if there is a hidden agenda.

Someone in their family earned it and they are lucky enough to be reaping the rewards.

Shit. Wish I had a trust fund. A big one.

Define work ?
Is making wire transfers and arranging for packing, shipment, treatment and pickup of products "work"?
If so. I work.
Of course the other 35 hours a week:eek: I ride horses, party and get naked with bimbos at my waterfalls.:eusa_shhh:

Some people lie, cheat, and steal their whole lives. Some got wealthy, some didn't, and some probably went to jail or and early grave.

Some people got very lucky, hit the lotto or something. Pretty small % here tho.

Some people inherited a boodle, which means somebody else earned it. Not to worry, it's gonna end up back in circulation anyway.

Most rich people though, they earned it. Earned a medical or legal degree or the like, or they busted their asses for years to build a business.

Here's a piece of advice: stop worrying about them and start thinking about how to improve the chances and opportunities for those at the other end of the financial spectrum. Better schools, better training, these things will help. But not until attitudes change and people start being responsible for themselves instead of expecting a gov't handout. Being born poor is a disadvantge that can be overcome, but nobody else is going to do it for you, least of all the effing gov't.

Sure some work very hard and others are blessed to just come from money.
