Zone1 Do Christians Proselytize out of “Love” - or Arrogance?

Can you cite a reference for that?

At least once they did, as a Jew relates.
They cried out, "Away with him, away with him, crucify him!"
(Jn 19:15)

They may not have pulled the trigger, but they sentenced him to that very sort of execution.

I understand, of course, that this is what Christians believe.
they also believe that the easter bunny brings jelly beans. The notion that
a whole gaggle of jews went to "golgotha" to SUPPORT A CRUCIFIXION of
a jew beats the notion of flying reindeer

The soldiers were mocking Jesus. Rome didn't care about Jesus. He was no threat to them. Jesus never challenged Roman authority. His kingdom was not of this world.
the nail in the cross was the attack on the money changers in the
temple courtyard-----it was SEDITION AGAINST ROME

The moneychangers weren't Romans. They were cheating poor Jews not Rome.
very silly and UNINFORMED response. The money changers were
entrepreneurs controlled by ROME like the tax collectors. Their role was
WATCH THE MONEY. You bought into the idiotic sunday school thing
about "short changing" ? HISTORICALLY the pharisees despised them
just as they despised the tax collectors. The attack on the money changers
marked Jesus for what he was-----a pharisee rebel-----the romans hated
the pharisee rebels and crucified them whenever possible.

They took a fee for changing Roman coin to shekels.

SO? you call that "cheating" ? I pay a fee to buy a money order.
The fee was not the reason that the pharisees attacked them or insisted
that they NOT BE THERE

So this story is also in the Torah? I had no idea.

That doesn’t mean he wanted to convert people to Christianity, which did not exist during his lifetime. He wanted to have people follow his teachings, which were primarily Jewish values and lessons.
No, He actually meant what he said. For what it's worth, I don't care enough to want to convert you.

BTW, I'm not a traditional Christian (Catholic rooted). I follow the apostles, prophets and Jesus who were SABBATH keepers, Holy Day observers, and obeyed the laws of clean and unclean meats. "Traditional" christians have their own sins to repent of.

Talk sense.
take your own advice. Where in the discussion of messiah does the
idea of a "WARRIOR KING" arise? In fact, you should reread ISAIAH----
he is the guy that jews do consider an expert on the subject. What (da hell)
did you mean by------"So this story is also in the Torah? I had no idea".
Interesting news for you----even back then jews were literate and wrote stuff
all the time-----somehow your sunday school "lady" forgot to let you know.
REREAD ISAIAH ---not only for his concept of messiah----he also describes
the role of the "king' in --'the days after' <<<< that means the messianic
age. SHEEEESH go to a hotel---there is a gideon bible in the night table
