Which Republicans could sit down with Jimmy Fallon or David Letterman and mix it up with them? Which ones could engage in cutting edge or topical humor?

Funny
Chris Christie: guy has a strong knowledge of popular culture and can be self depreciating
Sarah Palin: May have the best timing and is quick with a zinger
Rick Perry: Good ole boy can tell a story

Not bad:
Huckabee: Very Christian but can come up with something funny once in a while
Marco Rubio: Might be a dark horse and have a good sense of humor

Clueless:
Rand Paul: No knowledge of popular culture
Jeb Bush: Lacks the good ole boy aura of his brother
Mitt Romney: Like your weird Uncle Willard laughing at things nobody else gets
Bobby Jindal: No knowledge of popular culture or understanding of what is funny
Scott Walker: Zombie

Just plain scary:
Ted Cruz: Guy you are afraid to joke with

.

Ted Cruz, the lousy canadian, is a joke in himself.

For sheer comedy nothing could match Obama's policies.
Jokes on us, though.

You are a good case in point Rabbi

Why do you have zero sense of humor or understanding when someone is pulling your leg?

Other kids used to pick on you didn't they?
I understand that your posts are frequently the joke of the day on this site.
Romney is really funny btw. Maybe too sophisticated for you.

George W Bush had a good sense of humor, Reagan was maybe the best ever

Why are todays Republicans such stick in the muds?

Christie can at least laugh at himself and also throw out a few funnies here and there. I have to give him credit for that if nothing else. I still don't like his bully personality though.

Behind the scripted jokes and teleprompter lines I see Sarah Palin as a really angry, spiteful person really. She's someone who really just wants revenge or vindiction more than anything.

McCain was much funnier at the Al Smith dinner in 2008.

Much, much funnier.

Mitt did OK but it is obvious he was reading a script. His timing seemed a bit off

He has never been spontaneously funny and always seemed to be the last person in a room to get a joke

Yeah right. Mitt was really funny. Especially when he skewered Obama.
Obamas jokes consist of admissions he was wrong.
