:scared1:So the liberals want to hold their 2016 Convention in Philadelphia. Why not Colorado? Florida? Wisconsin? Iowa or Missouri? What are they afraid of? Thousands of Average Americans showing up as close as possible to the Convention Location holding signs protesting every issue that has brought them 8 years of misery?
Go ahead Democrats and put on your three day show full of Laughable Liberal Leaders who will boast about all of the economic success, 40 Million New Jobs,Budget Surplus, Debt Reduction and all of the World Peace they have accomplished over the last 8 years.:rock:. At least over 70% of America will have something hysterical to watch those nights.

and also, anyone want to guess which anti-american, angry, nationalist and socialist party will likely be guarding the perimeter of the convention armed with steel baseball bats and bully clubs?

Probably afraid of talking to an empty hall.

So they held it in the city where many districts registered 100% of their votes for Obama, and zero (count 'em, zero) for Romney or anyone else.

When the fix is in, you don't have to worry about opposing opinions.

Hillary's HQ is probably going to be in Brooklyn so that's why NY didn't get it. They had trouble with hotels and transport in the 2012 convention in Charlotte, NC, and it looked like the situation in Columbus would be similar. Philly has over 18,000 hotel rooms just a few blocks from the planned site. In the end it looks like transport and lodging won Philly the spot.

It was a matter of logistics and planning. If they held the convention in a place like Charlotte NC I'm certain they could've held it at a much bluer city like Columbus OH if they wanted to.

Penn is considered a purple state too btw.

there is no safe place to hold the convention without an angry mob nearby, oh, maybe near Howard Deans house in Vermont.

I have a theory...Philadelphia was chosen because the democrats are fearful they are going to lose Pennsylvania in the next Presidential election....PA has gone from Blue to Swing...As has Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio....

If Pennsylvania were to have an honest election, yes, a Republican would win. But they also need for all red counties to vote in the masses come 2016 to superceed the fraud ballots in the blue districts(you know, the ones that wait to see how many votes to report to win the election?) lets see, lets see, we need to come up with 9000 votes. I got an idea. 24,000 votes for Obama...0 for Romney !!!

No, actually all of them are pretty much unchanged.

If anything rural population decline is hurting Republicans.

What little voter fraud is found out there is just as heavily Republican as it is Democrat. If anything absentee ballots, which senior populations use more, are the more common sources of voter fraud.

Tell it to Tom Corbett!

I can just vision 5000 signs within a two mile radius of the convention. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE !! the night Hillary speaks.

I wonder what two individuals will be making sure no crackers get in through the main entrance.
