Did the TEA Party get President Obama Re-elected?

Women disagree with you 55 to 45.

Single women disagree with you 66 to 34.

Minorities think you are crazy.

White males make up 32% of the electorate.

We are not going back to 1950s.

The only way to reboot the American Dream is for White voters to unite its majority advantage into a voting block to make national interest the American priority as it once was.

There is no doubt about starkey is too stupid to realize he's been of of the liberal closet for some time why does he continue to pretend.
Are you ashamed that you are a liberal?

The far right haters with their awful message conflated with the women and minorities of America re-elected BHO.

We should have women this election hands down.

If we don't meet women and minorities' needs, we will not elect a president again.

Face it jake, there was a bigger “anyone but Mitt Romney” vote out there than a “anyone but Obama” vote. You guys banked that anyone, even one of the most disliked candidates of all time Mitt fucking Romnney could beat Obama… and welp, you wasted your vote on him and helped re-elect Obama. Thanks you fucking chitbag.

Actually, your reasoning is incredible. Despite all the invented racist BS, the Tea Party was almost entirely focused on budgetary reform. Romney's biggest gaffe was to pander to the xenophobic "social conservatives" on illegal immigrants, suggesting that they "self-deport." The real irony is that conservative Rick Perry had the most reasonable position on this issue.

Stop it already. Just stop with the lies. You know damn well the tea party would not have ever came along 2 minutes after Obama was sworn in if he was not Black. Give that up. No one believes it.

Tell me, how many times have you been to a tea party event. I would bet zero, so your basically talking out your ass. Don't dare to call anyone racist unless you have personally witnessed it. Then you can only speak of that individual. Of course because of people like you the racist lable no longer really means anything.

It doesnt?
Inside the numbers: ‘Obama coalition’ stronger in some areas than in 2008 | theGrio

I personally have never thought enough of Politics to send money. Didn't send Obama any money in his first run. No one I knew did. Then along came the tea party before he even had a seat in the Oval office. All of us were like WTH? Who are these people and why are they so mad at him? He has not done anything to get such wrath?

Then we saw the signs and heard the interviews. Things like this

I see they have tried to bury it deep since last week but it can be found.

Thats when we knew exactly what this group was about. Now we send money, register people. Give talks. Yea that is what tea party racism did for Obama. Believe it!
recipe for instant Obama Ground Soldier
Take politically average Democrat. Add tea party and water. Done

All we as minorities need is to not be made to feel like the scapegoat. This guy does this all day everyday

Call him and tell him to stfu.

Infidel is correct that MR was not TP, and BL hit the button: that is why PR was picked.

It seems to me that if Mitt Romney had not been forced to pander to the TEA party in order to get the nomination, he could have presented himself consistently as a moderate conservative.

Instead he appeared to be a flip-flopping B.S. artist which made many Americans feel that they did not know what type of President he would really be. This uncertainty surely caused an awful lot of 'undecideds' to vote for President Obama.

So it seems that the single most important goal of the TEA Party - to prevent the President from getting re-elected - was undermined by themselves!

The irony is incredible!

Disagree. I think the Tea Party message of fiscal responsibility and limited government rings true with many people. The problem was momentum. They peaked in 2009 and managed to get enough momentum to take back the house in 2010. However, two full years allowed the democrats and the media to marginalize and demonize the people in the group as racists and hicks. Give the left enough time and they can destroy anyone's character as we've seen with Bush and Palin most recently. Combine that with the co-opting of the group by idiots at the head of the RNC and it was doomed to fail from there. The Tea Party should have stayed unaffiliated with official parties and simply backed candidates as they saw fit.

.

The Tea Party is providing most of the energy in the GOP.

The Tea Party is causing most of the damage to the GOP.

Talk about a conundrum.

.

The damage is coming from the left as the Tea Party makes for an easy target since it's so broad. You can always find a nut in a group that diverse.

Its not about a few nuts. Its about how you suddenly showed up with all the anger toward a man who had done nothing but have the nerve to be black and run for President. When he won you were indignant.

How did it happen?

Where is he getting money?

But he is not a WASP?

Then all the hateful things that came from the rank and file of your hateful group. Gimme a break. Why hide? We know what fueled you:mad:

Mixed nuts makes for great parties, though!!

Yea. People hated him cause he was black. How did I miss that part? God if I had known he was black, THAT would have changed everything. :blahblah:

I think the part where he and Pelosi snuck a massive national healthcare bill through congress at 2am on a Saturday night and then proceeded to parade down the mall showing how smug and contrite they are might have had something to do with the formation of the Tea Party.

Tea Party is a vast spectrum of people that will encompass some nuts. If you want to see a hateful group of people, fueled by anger with the sole purpose of getting the president out of office then you need to go back to 2004. The very name "MoveOn.org" stated their goal loud and clear. The Tea Party was for taking back our government from those that would spend us into oblivion both on the left and right. I say was because it's been successfully marginalized at this point by both sides of the aisle.

jwoodie is talking nonsense. We the responsible part of the GOP, as made clear by Jindall and others, need the women and the minorities more than we need the wack loonies on the far right. The loonies are on notice: change.

Jake, we all know you're a Democrat Operative, but thanks for playing

What a bunch of whiners. The TP gave some strength to the GOP and far worse problems.

oh hum, another dump on the Tea party..

what got Obama re-elected was one of the nastiest campaigns I have ever seen by a president..and it seems quite a bit of fraud..

but the people don't seem to care..anything goes

It's pretty clear that the party of Tammany Hall and the Daley political machine took their voter fraud campaign national. Nothing changed in Chicago politics. If anything, it's gotten worse. Obama's governor is in jail for trying to sell his Senate seat and Val Jarett was "Candidate #1" for the sale.

The message of the Tea Party AND MITT was rejected by the majority of voters.

While Mitt did not jump through every one of the TP's hoops, and I have very little doubt that cost him some Team Party votes, do remember that Mitt also insulted huge part of the voting public all on his own, too.

Mitt lost because fewer people liked his plans for this nation than Obama's.

The RIGHT lost because the people of the USA decided the right wasn't offering them ANYTHING they wanted.

The tide is turning, folks.

Demographics are not on the side of this current incarnation of the GOP.

I guess Socialism rules..and you seem proud of that

The message is clear. Reagan, who raised taxes three times and cozied up to Gorby and raised the deficit 16 times, would be to liberal for the flacks on the far right today.

Don't need the crazees on the far right. Buh bye.

You appear to have the alertness and foresight of the cat in your avitar, can you ever make an intelleget remark.

Pro-Tip: If you're going to insult somebody's intelligence, at least learn how to spell intelligent.
