Gas at $2.80 to 2.87 pretty easy to find across Tennessee. Below $3.00 many places in Florida. In Georgia in the $2.60 to $2.70 range. Alabama in the $2.90s. Mississippi from $2.50 to $2.79. Arkansas $2.79 - $2.89. Kentucky $2.84 - $3.00. North Carolina in the $2.90s. Virginia $2.79 - $2.99.
Missouri $2.79 - $2.83. These prices are current on Gasbuddy.
If you aren't finding this, you should shop or move.

California's average was as high as $6.47.

Which is higher, gramps?

$5.93? Or $6.47?

Gas in my AO went up yesterday from $3.07 to $3.20 this morning.....Something to do with low inventory brought on by both planned and unplanned refinery shutdowns.....Just as it was predicted to happen, you can't have refineries going full bore and not expect down time.

They are called turnarounds and usually last a couple of months. Look for further increases in gas prices in the near future. They are saying back to a $4.00 national average by the end of November.

They were down, and the price of oil was dropping so OPEC cut production to bring the price back up.

Same old song and dance we have had for decades

Well if we did not have to depend on OPEC......Oh wait.

We just need to find a way to stop our oil companies from exporting records amount of oil every month.

Ohhhh, maybe when your beloved party takes back power you can nationalize the oil industry, that would solve the problem.
