At this point, what difference does it make??? She lied to us to that there is no doubt. If she lied to the FBI then that is a criminal offense. Which I suppose that Comey will just say she has too many short circuits to remember if Powell told her to have a private server or not.

Hillary Clinton may not have told the truth when she told FBI investigators former Secretary of State Colin Powell urged her to use her personal email account when she served as top diplomat.

News of the supposed advice comes from a new book by a close Clinton ally, Joe Conason. “Powell told her to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer,” Conason writes in his book, “Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton.”

Of course she lied. Lies about any and all. Sent S. Berger to steal documents, not to mention back to early days. Nixon did nothing comparatively. Hypocrites line up ass to elbow to vote 4 crook.

Ask Colin Powell

Gosh read the damn article:

“General Powell has no recollection of the dinner conversation. He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department,” a Powell spokeswoman said in a statement.

“At the time there was no equivalent system within the Department. He used a secure State computer on his desk to manage classified information.”

So it seems he did endorse a private email account

Anyone can have a private account, you are just telling us fairy tales trying to say what Hillary did had anything to do with private emails. She didn't need a server for private emails, she could have used hotmail or any other service.

But as the article clearly states Powell might have had a private account but it was separate from classified communications.

If that be true then why did Hillary allow access to classified information to her lawyers? Lawyers who didn't have clearance for classified information. Her whole BS story started out with she didn't want have to use two devices for email. Now you are telling us a whole new set of BS. Have you too short circuited?

Not that I don't trust you, but you are a liberal, can you link us to your evidence? Even if you do both servers were unsecured so it makes absolutely no difference.

And Comey said an email account through hotmail, etc would have been more secure than her set up was.

And don't forget the single device for convenience lie as well, as Comey said she used multiple devices.

.... Very different from a private email server.

hillary lies, you know. she lies all the time. it's a tremendous interplanetary nebula of deception all in orbit around the clintons, and the democrats bury their heads in the eye of the storm, ignoring the devastation they cause. so now there's powell, innocent bystander minding his own business, not causing anyone any trouble, and boom, hurricane shillary lands on his doorstep with a vengeance. oh gee golly thanks, that's just swell.
