Did Anyone Catch Guilliani On H & C Last Night?

No I didn't but I did see the clip with that evil socialist witch hitlery and her comments. What a moron she is, she can't stop the war effect in Iraq what the hell is with her. the ideal situation would be reducing troops and there role in the country and do a phased out withdrawal. But can she make it look like we succeded in our efforts or would she be a fool and do a I told ya so deal on American politics?

I did read this story about Rudy, one thing to remember is NYC has over 9 million people in it so that is like a small state or several cities in our country. I believe Rudy did a bang up job after 9/11 and his efforts to rebuild the city.
here is this link of what I found on the check that was initially given to NYC for 10 millon.

Let me tell you my position. We need to have good relations between the Arab world and Israel. When I sold my Plaza Hotel in New York, it was sold to Elad, which is an Israeli company.
business first then killing later.

Yes, I did see that interview. Sean Hannity really likes Rudy, but who doesn't?

There are a few problems with his answers to Hannity, who went way too softball on him. His answer to why he never signed the partial birth abortion ban was that the bill didn't have a "mother's welfare" clause in it.

A "mothers' welfare" clause in partial birth abortion simply allows a "doctor" to claim "mental issues" and perform this abortion. Basically, anyone who wants one can still have do so, it's an old Clinton trick.

And on gun control. Rudy claims that he believes in the 2nd Amendment, but then qualifies that by claiming an area having crime should be able to abolish handguns.

Worse yet, he supports amnesty, the McCain plan, and he's expressed doubt that the federal government can control illegal immigration at all. Back in New York, he continued a policy of preventing city employees from contacting INS about immigration violations. He ordered city attorneys to defend this policy in federal court.

Rudy has been great on the WoT, his personality is in total contrast with Hillary Clinton's, he'd probably'd win over her easily, but when all's said and done, he's still a RINO.

So ole Rudy has a little of the good and bad all rolled up in one nice package. It will be interesting how this will shake out in the campaign trail. Will he be a better seller that Hillary? She sucks because she lets emotion get into the mix. That reason alone is why we can't have a female president, or let me rephase----Just not Hitlerary because she'll use to much female emotion when good powerful and firm logic is needed in a crisis.

I think he is a mixed bag. If come 2008 the war is the issue, he stands a good shot. If not, the republicans will not vote for him. My money is on the GWOT.

Well, ya, the WoT as an issue isn't going anywhere in the next couple of years.

* cough * London *cough*

Possibly even NYC again, which would REALLY help Rudy's chances, but I didn't want to say that before.

as i have been saying it will be

rudy mccain

vs

hillary and obama

But neither ticket would really make much sense then.

Why RINO/RINO? Rudy's a rough pill to swallow in his own right, he wouldn't put another RINO on the bottom of the ticket. He'd probably get away with picking a red-state conservative like....Sonny Perdue. For example.

Hillary doesn't even like or respect Obama, and you thought she was all bad. She really wants Bayh, but he's a hard sell to the dailykos core of her party, she'll probably have to settle for Richardson (yuk) or Edwards (yuk).

But then, what do I know?

I could accept Rudy as President, but Im not going to vote for him in the primary. I find him far more tolerable than McCain though.

Hilter and her buddy I see that as real,
But I'm not so sure about McCain, he has had some good points but I'm not liking the vib he's sending out lately.

What are the chances of Lieberman running Republican? Or do you think he's shifted too much for any stability in any party?

Here's the scoop on Rudy. Conservatives should read this 12-page article and compare Rudy's record against Hillary's, Barack's, and Edwards'.

Yes, Rudy Giuliani Is A Conservative
By Steven Malanga, City Journal
Winter 2007 Issue

And an electable one, at that.

Yep, I read that awhile ago and the points made are real. My opinion is that if GWOT is still #1 for most republicans, Guilliani has a real chance. If they decide social issues are, not so good.

The WOT will not have gone away by the time of the 2008 election, and a lot will happen between now and then. I think our national security trumps the social issues, so I'll be paying close attention to the stands the Republican candidates take on the WOT, securing our borders, and developing alternative sources of energy.
