In a recent Buzzfeed video that has already logged over 5.5 million views, President Obama reminded us all that the Affordable Care Act’s second open-enrollment period ends Sunday. And yet federal officials have already begun trumpeting the numbers. Early this month, Sylvia Mathews-Burwell, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, estimated that 10 million people had already gained access to coverage under the law.
