Des Moines Register calls for audit of Iowa results: 'Something smells in the Democratic Party'

02/04/16 12:02 PM EST

In a strongly worded editorial on Thursday, The Des Moines Register called on the Iowa Democratic Party to move quickly to prove that Monday's results are correct.

The piece titled “Editorial: Something smells in the Democratic Party,” starts out: “Once again the world is laughing at Iowa.”

“What happened Monday night at the Democratic caucuses was a debacle, period. Democracy, particularly at the local party level, can be slow, messy and obscure. But the refusal to undergo scrutiny or allow for an appeal reeks of autocracy,” the DMR reads. “The Iowa Democratic Party must act quickly to assure the accuracy of the caucus results, beyond a shadow of a doubt.”

The editorial cites Clinton’s razor-thin victory as too close “not to do a complete audit of results.”

The Register is right. Whenever the results are that tight, an audit is in order. Flipping a coin was ludicrous!

I am having this feeling that Iowa is hurting Clinton just like it is hurting Cruz.

The coin flip was crazy to me but I have heard of it before...

Frankly, what do responsible people expect from a bunch of fucking LIBs who were 'streamed' through the 'Liberal Indoctrination Centers? Most of the LIBs who were supposed to be in charge of the precincts don't know what a fucking shoelace is.

If they uncover a scandal before S. Carolina people are going to pay. Could be Hillary or it could be Cruz.

I was listening to NPR a few days back ( the day after the Iowa Caucus ) and Howard Dean was on it telling the host that they need to forget about Bernie Sanders because Hillary Clinton is going to be the Democratic Nominee, and it make me wonder are those like Dean and Wasserman - Schultz will try their damnedest to toss the election to Hillary Clinton?

I am wondering if the Democratic Establishment will do it damnedest to nominate their candidate and if Sanders derail Clinton then will the establishment do it damnedest to make sure Sanders loses the general election by giving him limited support?

I think all of their maneuvering is strictly before the general. After the primaries, the attack dogs leave the building when it goes to attacking a fellow Democrat candidate. They will have no choice, but to support the nominee.

Of course, the question behind the curtain "How much trouble is Clinton going to be in? Will they indict (I don't think so), but the Feds may come out publicly with all of the evidence against her if the DOJ doesn't cooperate. Enter Bloomberg or Biden.

I like this news.

This is a very liberal newspaper which should have known, like the rest of us knew, that the Fix-Was-In for Hillary Clinton by the Democratic Apparatus...the fix has always been in for the overly-ambitious and utterly incompetent wife of a two term President...the same way Evita Peron got to be president of one of those South American Satraps---just because her husband was president.

This newspaper was in on the game. They would have never sniffed corruption...even now...if their very candidate was not at grave risk of being indicted--in which case they will need new horse to help put the fix in for.

It has been a great election season so far...the Citizens have finally awakened to the peril posed by Washington corruption...supported by Media corruption.

They better not run Bloomberg or Biden because then it is clear the Democratic Party is doing whatever it can do to run their candidate and should not even do a caucus or primary...

Sanders win the nomination they better back him and if Trump win the nomination I feel the same should be done!

Let the people pick their poison and learn from it...

Both parties have their Establishment members that are riling right now. The want to be the operators of the puppets and the voters are not going to allow them their entitlement rights.
Dems want Hillary in the worst way. Look what Debbie W, Schultz has done to coronate Hillary...few debates timed when few people watch, etc. GOP wants Rubio or even a lower tier candidate that they can control. They don't want Trump (anti-establishment) or Cruz (Tea Party, anti=establishment). All of this is a mess, but it makes for a more intriguing game. Will the people win out and get their chosen candidate? Or will the party leaders get their candidate? Get the popcorn ready!

That smell is the smell of extremely OLD, elitist, millionaire white liberals squabbling over who won the 'tie'.

The Iowa Democratic Party Chair Refusing To Review Caucus Results Is A HUGE Hillary Supporter

The Iowa Democratic party chair who is refusing to release raw vote totals from Monday’s state caucuses is a long-time Hillary Clinton supporter who donated to the politician’s various campaigns and who reportedly drives a Buick with the license plate “HRC 2016.”

Dr. Andrea “Andy” McGuire has shot down calls to review vote tallies from Monday’s contest despite Clinton’s razor-thin win over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. The former secretary of state squeaked by the democratic socialist, hauling in 49.9 percent of state delegate equivalents versus Sanders’ 49.6 percent.

The fix is in.

the people who voted should have been the one protesting it too. this is how they get away with this. and is how (fraud and cheating) OBAMA was able to become the thug who took up space in the white house and spilled his bile all over us every damn day

I could have told you years ago something stinks in the Democratic party. You know why that party has turned into such a vicious train-wreck under Typhoid Barry? Because all the SANER, moderate democrats like myself abandoned that political Hindenburg years ago (I consider myself independent, middle-of-the-road). Which left behind the violent, self-hating-Westerner, malcontent leftist thugs. If any Repubs. wonder why the Dems. have turned so rancid in the past several years, there's your answer. Obama bin Lying superconcentrated the scumbag rabble in it.

This dynamic also proves that white, Western-liberal-guilt is an insidious disease; because it leads to Western self-hatred, which in turn leads to treason. Is there a better explanation as to why guilty white liberals universally have muslim dicks in their sneering, piety-spewing mouths? Islam is the extreme antithesis of all Western values.
