love hopper..have seen most of his movies....i am forcing myself to watch "mad dog morgan" right now...i never realized what a bad movie hopper could make. i dont know if its the accent or the beard.

Think about the young Dennis Hopper in movies like: Rebel Without a Cause, Cool Hand Luke, and of course Easy Rider. A more mature Dennis Hopper played the manic photo journalist in Apocalypse Now and his signature role in Blue Velvet.

I can't forget his portrayal of a drunken father in Hoosiers.

He started to take roles which seemed to be an extension of Frank Booth from Blue Velvet. I wish he had stretched out more.

I think I liked the idea of Dennis Hopper more than I typically enjoyed the acting Dennis Hopper.

I do not think he was one of his generations best actors.

I do think he was one of his generations most interesting celebrities.
