So, I've been reading stuff from liberals and Democrats lately lauding, or at least defending, China's handling of the coronavirus. And it's pretty obvious that the truth of what China did is mostly irrelevant to them. They're merely defending China because Republicans are blaming China to divert attention away from Trump's failures. ie their perception of the "truth" of the matter depends on their political goals. Trumpsters did the same kind of thing. They saw that leftists were using the pandemic to make Trump look bad, so they tried to declare it a hoax, or at least dismiss it as no big deal.
