Dems: Abortion Saves Money or It Kills More Blacks Than 7 Leading Causes of Death Combined
According to Michigan Congressman Bart Stupak, the Democratic Leadership is pushing hard for abortion to be included under ObamaCare, because babies are just too expensive.
What are Democratic leaders saying? "If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That's one of the arguments I've been hearing," Stupak says. "Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue -- come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we're talking about."

Abortion killed at least 203,991 blacks in the 36 states and two cities (New York City and the District of Columbia) that reported abortions by race, according to the CDC. During that year, according to the CDC, a total of 198,385 blacks nationwide died from heart disease, cancer, strokes, accidents, diabetes, homicide, and chronic lower respiratory diseases combined.
Of course this number falls short since all districts do not report abortions by race. - we wonder why?

The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
