Is this patriotic of these progressives or what? No. This proves they are turncoats and could care less about our veterans. Oh and I blame Paul Ryan as well. One thing is for sure, if Governor Palin was president, she would have never let a travesty like this happen. She is a staunch supporter of our veterans and has the upmost respect for them for their service to our country.



Democrats Save Illegal Alien Tax Credit, Kill Move to Restore Veterans' Pensions


Senate Democrats killed an amendment from Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) that would have paid for unemployment benefits for many Americans and replaced recent cuts to veterans’ pensions by closing a tax code loophole that allows illegal aliens to access the Refundable Child Tax Credit.

Even though many of our veterans are facing poverty, they don't get the consideration that the Dems give illegal aliens. Obama would let veterans starve or go without health care just so the illegals can settle in and register as Democrats.

It is sad and I never thought I'd see the day when the federal government pandered to the law breakers instead of the patriots.

The lunatics have taken the lead over the years by encouraging more and more illiteracy, dependence and a lack of conscience. Too many feel entitled just for existing, while those who gave are treated like dirt.

Look at the workers now who can no longer afford health care. Obama doesn't give a shit because he never set out to make sure everyone had insurance, only those who would vote for him. He managed to please the takers and the big insurance companies at the same time. Middle class got fucked.

It's the same thing with entitlements. Punish the workers and let them do without so that his little sheeple can be kept content to keep the liberals in power.

Of course, there is less public outrage at this bad treatment of our veterans because the liberal media has aided in the effort to vilify our veterans and suggest that they are rightfully on the DHS watch list, along with 2nd amendment supporters and people who still like the constitution.

The only way liberals get upset is if you talk about putting up fences at the border or encouraging welfare people to get a job. They will abide by anything but that!

"Restore veterans pensions"?

Uh...no. Our pensions are fine, thanks. No one was taking them away.

Republican Chairman Paul Ryan's budget had, like, a one percent cut to the COLA increases we would receive. It is almost literally pocket change. Especially compared to the much bigger hits our benefits have taken in recent years that were passed on a bipartisan basis.

It is interesting THIS is what the piss drinkers have chosen to make a big deal about, considering they totally ignored, and are still ignorant of, much bigger cuts inflicted on us in the past year.

Things that make you go, "Hmmmmm..."

We can't have Fox News or Brietbart talking about those MUCH bigger cuts which were passed by the GOP House. No, sir. That would be...like...telling the WHOLE TRUTH or something. For God's sake, we can't have that!
