Democrats give felons on ankle monitors 48 hours of freedom without penalty, violent criminal commits crimes

The Democrat party is the cause of about 95% of our gun crime in this country…….then they use the crime they allow to happen as an excuse to attack normal gun owners and legal guns.

Criminal justice reform in Illinois has ensured that most violent criminals are back out on the street after an arrest with little or no bail. The worst of the arrestees get unbelieveably stringent requirement of being saddled with “electronic home monitoring” which is supposed to keep them where they can’t victimize others.

That sounds good, except for one thing…thanks to Illinois’ new “bail reform” bill, there’s no criminal penalty for leaving home while you’re being monitored. In fact, a criminal on house arrest can leave and do God knows what. As long as they’re back within 48 hours, there’s no criminal penalty.

Meet Peter Andrews. After arrests for two arrests for a couple of armed robberies and a third for being a felon in possession of a firearm, he was cut loose from the county jail — again. This time, though, he was saddled with electronic home monitoring.

CWB Chicago has the story:

A Chicago man who is awaiting trial for two armed robberies and a separate felony guncase left his home while on electronic monitoring to carjack a woman at gunpoint on Halloween, prosecutors said Tuesday.

But, because the man was not away from his home for more than 48 hours, he cannot be charged with escaping electronic monitoring under Illinois’ new criminal justice reform law.

Some believe prison should be about rehabilitation. Others seem to believe prison should just be a zoo to lock all the bad people in. This program is obviously trying to work toward the former.

Sometimes people will abuse efforts to have a rehabilitation process. Does that mean we shouldn't try? I don't know. I do know most lefties don't support violent crime. They believe these people can change. That's why they try to reduce sentences too.

In Saudi Arabia, the jails there have running water, from one side of the floor in the cell, to the other side of the room, you dont piss upstream. Also in Saudi Jails, they dont provide food, clothes or anything else, so if the inmate wants to eat, smoke or be dressed, the relatives or friends provide for that criminal. Also if there are other inmates in there, you can bet that there is either sharing, or a fist fight everytime food or smoke is brought in. Since the system is there not to provide a means for the criminal to live comfortably, there arent usually repeat offenders. Also, the justice system is better, because if you murder someone, you get 1 appeal and if still convicted you are executed by separating your head from your shoulders, thus no repeat offenders. If you rape a woman, you lose your manhood all of it, thus making you a docile eunuch, or in progressive terms a tranny without the junk. If you child molest they just execute you without an appeal. No repeat offenders.


The Democrats found a way to employ lots of people back in the 1980s and 1990s as Joe Biden had said "black men are predators" so he put out a law that jailed 10s of thousands of blacks, and then the Bureau of Prisons was created so famers could provide meals and clothing for the criminals, books could be provided for reading thus papermills got more jobs, entertainment like TVs so electronics were purchased, all on the dime of the tax payer. This is why Democrats love criminals, not the victims of those criminals...

That 'some people' abusing the stupidity of liberal judges, DAs, and mayors is clearly out of control. Time to scratch that nonsense and return to sanity. Leniency should be earned by quantifiable good behavior while incarcerated.
