Democrats' drive to ban assault-style rifles roils U.S. House panel

20 Jul 2022 ~~ By Richard Cowan

A Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives panel on Wednesday worked toward approving legislation to ban assault-style rifles such as those used in recent mass shootings, and another bill allowing lawsuits against firearms manufacturers.
The bills face staunch Republican opposition within the House panel, as well as slim odds in the Senate, where at least 10 Republicans would be needed to allow them to be brought up for debate. Republicans in the past have rejected similar bills, citing the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution's protections for the right to bear arms.

Commentary:
Once again Progressive Maoist/DSA Democrats attempt to disarm Americans. while arming their foot soldiers BLM terrorists so they can murder even more whites. That's Racist!
“Weapons of War” are exactly what the Second Amendment was intended to protect.
The Brown Bess musket was the assault weapon of the time surely the Kentucy rifle made the Brown Bess almost obsolete and so did the Hawken rifle that soon followed.
Should they also be banned by our "August" Congress?

The more they squeeze, the more start slipping through their fingers.
It's best if they turn up the heat faster than they want so the frogs jump out of the pot.
We need to force their hand hard & fast so they reveal themselves so much even the lefty sheeple wake up to realize their leaders have masters that don't mind if they kill us all

I agree. This slow death by thousands of cuts gets really bloody tedious, sitting around waiting for the actual no-shit shit to hit the fan. I've always felt more like a Maryland blue crab than a frog—sitting in that there pot of slow boiling water, that is. But, in all seriousness, I wish they'd just get it over with—show us their true faces, so we can get on with doing what must be done. The waiting is the hardest part.
