Democrats Already Preparing to Impeach Trump if he’s Re-Elected

There's precisely zero reason to believe that Durham is investigating the whistleblower and if he is without a proper reason, that's intimidation and really bad.

Tough titty for you people. Best of luck whining about intimidation.

Is it really that hard to hold Trump to the same level of accountability as everyone else? Or is it just because Trump supporters are obsessed about “winning” that they decide he doesn’t need to follow any rules?

Please list his high crimes and misdemeanors to date. It shouldn't be difficult what with all the evidence Adam Schiff has provided.
House Democrats spoke for months about how investigations had established crimes that President Donald Trump committed, but on Tuesday they did not specifically include those allegations in articles of impeachment under the constitutional standard of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The two articles of impeachment Democrats filed — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — stayed away from detailing where Trump might have broken the law with his dealings with Ukraine or interactions with the special counsel probe into Russian interference with the 2016 election.

The strategy to focus on constitutional violations rather than the criminal violations they had discussed — such as bribery, extortion, campaign finance or obstruction of justice — highlights how Democrats contend that a president does not have to commit a crime to be impeached

There seems to be some misunderstanding about the phrase "high crime". That doesn't mean, like a really bad crime, as one might assume based on just looking at the words. A high crime is a crime uniquely committed by a person of high authority. It's essentially the same as a betrayal of authority and public trust. These are not crimes enumerated in law because you can't possibly write a book of laws solely for a person of power to follow, but rather designed to be decided upon by the House, which is the closest representation of the people of the country.

Trump's use of our taxpayer dollars to cajole an ally into investigating his political opponent is exactly what the founders had in mind when they wrote "high crimes".

Stupidest thing I've read all week. Thanks for the chuckle.

The Orange Creature is an existential threat to the Republic and its Constitution.

If, by some freak chance, the Thing is re-elected, then a second swipe at Impeachment would be welcome.

Rinse-and-repeat, until the Senate comes to its senses and remembers its oath and its sacred duty.

The charges have to be legitimate, as they are this first time, but The Orange Baboon routinely serves-up fresh justifications.

Perhaps, next time, both House and Senate will be heavily dominated by Democrats... the requisite tipping point.
Tell me, what law did Trump break? I cannot get one of you loons to answer that question.

Why? Because you're actually interested in holding Trump accountable?

No, because I enjoy seeing you figuratively standing there mouth agape.

If that’s the case, I decline your request.

What is stupid about it?

If Trump gets re-elected, will he be able to stay out of trouble?

It will be hard to imagine

Make Trump the 1st president impeached twice ,,supported by the lowest slime ever in our senate Let Americans see the slime they voted for
Republicans follow your lead. You can see now that there will be committees and maybe even impeachment proceedings against a Prog president when it comes. In fact I would demand it as a voter.

That would be a great thing! Now that the Democrats have lowered the bar for impeachment to any policy they don't agree with, I'm sure they can never put it down! Eventually it can only lead to the realization that the DNC is no longer a legit, legal party but merely a rogue outfit working for the utter anarchy of the nation!
Democrats don’t believe in the Constitution or democracy. Just a spoiled bunch of children who can’t get over losing a free and fair election.
