opinion seems so polorized in america, dems for pulling the troops republicans for finnishing the job. I for one, am with the republicans with this one, the job needs to be finnished. I would agree with the republicans on this, but that's about the only right dissision this administration has made.
Going into Iraq was a masive mistake, but now its been done you need to finnish it properly, not run away like in vietnam and korea.

What exactly defines it as a "war" to you?

The fact that we invaded them, killed their innocent families and friends, and now they feel such an awful, evil desire to defend themselves? How dare they, right?

If we were invaded by, say, Russia, and your home was bombed, killing your whole family, would you not feel a desire to retaliate? Or defend yourself or your country PERIOD?

You'd be GLAD if somone from Canada was supplying you with the weapons to do so, especially if you had none of your own to use.

Not that I believe Iran is fueling the "insurgency" anyway.

actually iraq did wage war on the us....they invaded a country we had a "treaty" with, attack our allies attack us....iraq withdrew and signed a truce which they then violated and were invaded to enforce the terms of the truce.....which the un actually voted 18 times to enforce

I looked at the article... I'm afraid I see nothing about "Dem Leadership" saying the surge is working.
