Why not give our Commander-in-Chief full authority to demonstrate his brilliance during the next two years? Then the voters can express their approval in the next election...

The desire of you and many others on the right to see American ground troops die needlessly in the ME is truly bizarre and disturbing.

It happens everytime you whites fight Brown people. They just keep on keeping on.

Why don't you try higher level thinking for a change? A declaration of war doesn't require any specific action by the Commander-in-Chief; it merely authorizes him to take whatever action he deems necessary. You on the left are pathetic weasels who don't have the courage of your own convictions. Why shouldn't Obama be given full authority to deal with Isis? Are you afraid you wouldn't have Republican obstructionism and/or racism to blame for his idiotic policies?

why don't you act like a conservative and stay out of fights that can't be won. Let the strong survive and quit playing big brother to the world.

We are technically already at war with them and the president can order the military to do practically anything to fight them. It would be better if the current congress signs off on it instead of having to use the Iraq war authorization from ten years ago.

Go ahead and give Obama the declaration he asked for it's a safe bet he won't do anymore than he is right now. If he has it he can not blame Republicans for blocking him taking action against ISIS nor can he claim he didn't have the authority.

If only Bush hadn't destabilized the area in 2003 when he started the Invasion of Iraq to begin with, We wouldn't have this problem now. No IS terrorists running amok. Coulda woulda shoulda.

Because ISIS is not recognized as a fûcking nation. If we declare war in them...they will be. ISIS is a criminal entity. A gang, if you will.

Only a complete idiot would suggest recognizing ISIS as a nation.
