Everybody should know that Jordan hanged two terrorists in retaliation for the murder of a Jordanian pilot. Had wild beasts murdered the pilot trapped in a cage they would have showed more mercy. No decent human being should object to Jordanā€™s lawful executions. Naturally, even liberals are appalled by the brutal murder ISIS carried out. Conversely, liberals are much more politically disturbed because Jordan hanged a few terrorists.

To be fair, I should point out that some ā€˜decent human beingsā€™ always piss and moan whenever the death penalty is administered to punish the bloodiest criminals. The compassion type are probably crying crocodile tears because Jordan carried out the death penalty.

On the studious side, Iā€™ve heard countless intelligent people offer the same observation about Islamic combatants. They all agree that Islamic brutality is a tried and tested tactic employed to intimidate non-Muslims, as well as recruit more of the sickest of human beings.

My solution

First, let me remind you that captured Muslims expect to spend a few years in jail. Release, or a full pardon, is the worst they expect in the event they are not acquitted in a civilian court.

More importantly, in order to satisfy death penalty opponents worldwide this should be tried on captured Muslim butchers after a speedy trial and immediate punishment:

Turn every captured murderer into a vegetable. Remove their sight, hearing, voice, and mobility. Then keep them alive in that state for as long as possible. As an added incentive before they are captured let them know that pig blood will be mixed in with the nutrients in their feeding tubes.

The cost

Let me also remind you that Muslims expect American taxpayers to pay for their lawyers and years of appeals. I am guessing that my solution will be a lot cheaper than it will be to imprison enemy combatants in country clubs for any length of time.

Every terrorist looks forward to a martyrā€™s death. So I am betting my last buck that Islamic combatants will think twice about the continued use of brutality as a tactic. One thing is certain. Enemy combatants who know what is in store for them will see their recruiting efforts go into the toilet real fast. I doubt if the hardest of hardcore Muslim butchers will look forward to facing years of vegetation in a losing war.

Plan B

Give terrorists a serious lobotomy should Plan A for winning the war be too harsh for you. On the plus side they do not have to be imprisoned.

Defeating Muslim fighters in traditional battles will not change their mindset. The trick is to instill paralyzing fear in their very souls. That alone will change the global strategy of Islamā€™s ruling classes who support the butchers. If you are squeamish ask yourself one question. How long do you think Islamā€™s leaders will retain their taste for war after their ā€œwarriorsā€ refuse to spend years in a vegetative state before they die. Not martyrs, not heros, just alone and forgotten.

Finally, Taqiyya the Liarā€™s refusal to assist the Muslim coalition fight the war against a common enemy is being deliberated coordinated to turn the war over to the United Nations.

The Chicago sewer rat will not lead a unilateral fight against Muslim combatants of any stripe until the United Nations has the authority to make every decision required to defeat Islamic fundamentalism. It goes without saying that includes placing the US military under UN command. He will not agree to anything less until the UN is in a position to protect every Muslim. Indeed, WWII would have been the same as FDR protecting every German Christian before Nazi armies could be defeated.

Bottom line: If the UN does win the current war under the rules Taqiyya the Liar plays by, someday the rest of the world will find itself fighting all of Islam.

NO!! I would refuse to allow that with every sinew of my old carcass!!!!

As an added incentive before they are captured let them know that pig blood will be mixed in with the nutrients in their feeding tubes.

OK: but what use is it if they're vegetative?? It's not as if they could object or anything. They already have a "it can't happen to me" mentality. And who is talking about turning a bloody cheek?? I DO NOT consider ISIS animals. That reduces their responsibility for their evil crimes. I say bring JUSTICE to them, and the sooner the better.

I am afraid we already have dropped below ISIS..when you start feeling all proud about us think of what we did to this man...our heroic troops did this...

let's revisit the case of The Unfortunate Taxi Driver, Mr. Dilawar, whose murder by torture was the subject of the film, Taxi to the Dark Side, the Oscar winning documentary in 2007 (you may view the film in its entirety at this website).

Mr. Dilawar, age 22, had the misfortune to be driving his taxi back to his hometown with three passengers while on a road where a US military outpost had been the subject of a rocket attack. He spent five days at Afghan Air Force Base, shackled to a wall, his legs beaten to a pulp. This is a description of what he endured there at the hands of his interrogators, most of whom considered him innocent:

Black hood over his head caused difficulty breathing:

"He could not breathe," said ... one of Mr. Dilawar's passengers. [Note, the three surviving passengers were detained at Guantanamo for one year, before being released in March 2004 with official documents stating they posed no risk to the United States]
Forced to kneel and hold his arms, which were hand cuffed, over his head during interrogation:

[Dilawar] was unable to hold his cuffed hands above his head as instructed, prompting Sergeant Salcedo to slap them back up whenever they began to drop.
Beatings for not being able to sit upright because of the condition of his legs:

When Mr. Dilawar was unable to sit in the chair position against the wall because of his battered legs, the two interrogators grabbed him by the shirt and repeatedly shoved him back against the wall.
Kicked in groin; Pulled to standing position using his beards, foot crushed by interrogator's boot:

"They stood him up, and at one point Selena stepped on his bare foot with her boot and grabbed him by his beard and pulled him towards her," he went on. "Once Selena kicked Dilawar in the groin, private areas, with her right foot. She was standing some distance from him, and she stepped back and kicked him.
Dilawar's head slammed into table:

"[US Interrogator] had a rule that the detainee had to look at him, not me," the interpreter told investigators. "He gave him three chances, and then he grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him towards him, across the table, slamming his chest into the table front."
Threatened with anal rape:

Specialist Walls grabbed the prisoner and "shook him harshly," the interpreter said, telling him that if he failed to cooperate, he would be shipped to a prison in the United States, where he would be "treated like a woman, by the other men" ...
And of course the constant smashing of Mr. Dilawar's legs, shattering them into who knows how many tiny pieces:

The findings of Mr. Dilawar's autopsy were succinct. He had had some coronary artery disease, the medical examiner reported, but what caused his heart to fail was "blunt force injuries to the lower extremities."
One of the coroners later translated the assessment at a pre-trial hearing for Specialist Brand, saying the tissue in the young man's legs "had basically been pulpified."

"I've seen similar injuries in an individual run over by a bus," added Lt. Col. Elizabeth Rouse, the coroner, and a major at that time.

You approve of US torturing innocent people to death ? Greg
And of course the constant smashing of Mr. Dilawar's legs, shattering them into who knows how many tiny pieces:

OK: but what use is it if they're vegetative?? It's not as if they could object or anything. They already have a "it can't happen to me" mentality.

To gtopa1: Their mentality is wrapped around them dying. A religious belief that goes back for centuries. Break their love of death and they will object to plenty that will happen to them.

And who is talking about turning a bloody cheek??

To gtopa1: You whether you realize or not.

I DO NOT consider ISIS animals. That reduces their responsibility for their evil crimes.

To gtopa1: Treating them better than animals does nothing to reduce ā€œ. . . their responsibility for their evil crimes .ā€ Almost a century of liberal garbage philosophy produced in literature and talking pictures brought a large number of Americans to your beliefs. America, and the West in general, refuse to face the fact that Islam is wiping away those beliefs, and they are doing it with cruelty not humanity. In simple terms Islamā€™s butchers are wiping away the false ideology that liberals forced on the country when nobody fought back. Throw in the Geneva Conventions realistically ignored by Muslims and they are playing a winning hand. See this thread for my comments on the Geneva Conventions:

I say bring JUSTICE to them, and the sooner the better.
Greg

To gtopa1: Punishment is justice ā€”ā€” the more severe the better.

And of course the constant smashing of Mr. Dilawar's legs, shattering them into who knows how many tiny pieces:

To TyroneSlothrop: Even if the case you cite is true, which I doubt, rough treatment meted out to aggressors does not rise to the level of torture ā€”ā€” not even weatherboarding rises to the level of torture. WWII prisoners would have rolled on the floor laughing at the things you people call torture.

There is simply no question of any kind that it is true .....beating a man to death over a period of days is torture...The man was not an aggressor...he was a taxi driver in his own country doing his job as taxi driver...he was picked up by the real aggressors...that would be our invading troops not him he was in his own country working...our heroes tortured him for days until they murdered him...I am not going to Gish gallop ...

The latest ISIS atrocity ā€“ releasing a video of a captured Jordanian fighter pilot being burned alive ā€“ prompted substantial discussion yesterday about this particular form of savagery. It is thus worth noting that deliberately burning people to death is achievable ā€“ and deliberately achieved ā€“ in all sorts of other ways:

ā€œLiving Under Drones: Death, Injury and Trauma to Civilians From US Drone Practices in Pakistanā€, NYU School of Law and Stanford University Law School, 2012:

The most immediate consequence of drone strikes is, of course, death and injury to those targeted or near a strike. The missiles fired from drones kill or injure in several ways, including through incineration[3], shrapnel, and the release of powerful blast waves capable of crushing internal organs. Those who do survive drone strikes often suffer disfiguring burns and shrapnel wounds, limb amputations, as well as vision and hearing loss. . . .

To TyroneSlothrop: Justifying Muslim butchers without actually admitting you are defending them is an immature debating trick. Moving the dialogue away from your position with talking points unrelated to my premise proves my point.

Try to grasp honorable men giving their lives for their country in battle. Example: Japanā€™s Kamikaze pilots sacrificing their lives in order to kill the enemy is the exact opposite of your Muslims who murder helpless captives for the reasons I detailed in a few words:

On the studious side, Iā€™ve heard countless intelligent people offer the same observation about Islamic combatants. They all agree that Islamic brutality is a tried and tested tactic employed to intimidate non-Muslims, as well as recruit more of the sickest of human beings.

Defense Department's Legal Bid to Suppress Detainee Abuse Photos Reaches 'Line in the Sand'
indefinitedetention-a.jpg

A years-long legal battle to compel the Department of Defense to release over 2,000 photos depicting abuse and torture of detainees in U.S. custody may have reached a critical moment on Wednesday.

Some of the photos have been described as being possibly more disturbing than those from Abu Ghraib. The Telegraph previously reported that they "were largely taken by U.S. troops themselves as they posed with prisoners or corpses and were gathered during the course of 203 military investigations in Iraq and Afghanistan."

I am not impressed by ISIS brutality...its the tactics of the weak...itslike a cat puffing itself all up to look more dangerous ....we have much more brutal weapons than ISIS and we are willing to use them on people....

CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou has been released from the federal correctional institution in Loretto, Pennsylvania. He checked into a halfway house on February 3 and then went home to be with his family and serve the remaining 86 days of his sentence on house arrest. And, to mark his departure from the facility, he penned a final letter acknowledging everything he will not miss about being incarcerated.

Kiriakou was the first member of the CIA to publicly acknowledge that torture was official US policy under President George W. Bushā€™s administration. In October 2012,
he pled guilty to violating the Intelligence Identities Protection Act (IIPA) when he confirmed the name of an officer involved in the CIAā€™s Rendition, Detention and Interrogation (RDI) program to a reporter. He was sentenced in January 2013 and reported to prison on February 28, 2013.

Killing Muslim combatants in battle will take care of itself with the right commander in chief. Iā€™d like to hear Pat Buchanan et al. address punishing captured murders as I suggested in the OP. No better deterrent for political murder than severe punishment was ever invented irrespective of movies and all of the liberal novels ever published.

Whose job is it to kill ISIS?
