The most important book written by an African for a generation, if not not.

For anyone who has missed it, I can't reccomend this book highly enough - Moyo argue why the US and EU shoud stop all aid to Africa, and instead should end all agricultural subsidies to local farmers so that Africa could trade on a level playing field. Incendiary, but illuminating.

Any thoughts on the book?

Actually it is diametrically opposed to Marxism, in that Marxism espouses aid, while this book calls for aid to end.

And no - it has nothing to say about race, either. It's about economics.
