DC Columbus statue has been restored

<~~~~~~~~~~>
Why Columbus is even rumored to have been Jewish.
Is there any other lies that can be found to distract from the true.
The one sure belief I have is that "America" the vast land beyond the seas to the West of Ice Land, Ireland and Europe were known for centuries before the discovery by Columbus.
That still doesn't detract from his discovery.

How can you be heralded as the discoverer of a continent already discovered and inhabited before you discover it?

The Racist Democrats want the Columbus statue removed.

The first I-talion American....Who was working for the Spaniards because he was broke.

These guys beat Columbus by a long shot.

America was first discovered by the ancestors of modern Indigenous peoples (Native Americans), who crossed the Bering Land Bridge from Asia into what is now Alaska at least 15,000 to 20,000 years ago.
and said peoples warred with and enslaved each other for thousands of yrs over territory and resources .. facts ! and they were still at it during the early yrs of European settlers .

Before European arrival and during the colonial era, Native American tribes frequently fought each other for control over land, resources, and trade. Some of the most significant and well-documented tribal conflicts include:
  • The Beaver Wars (1628–1701): The Iroquois Confederacy (Haudenosaunee) fought a brutal series of wars against the Huron (Wendat), Erie, and northern Algonquian tribes. Backed by Dutch and English arms, the Iroquois successfully expanded their territory to dominate the lucrative fur trade, essentially destroying several rival confederacies in the process. [1, 2, 3]
  • The Sioux and Pawnee Conflicts: The Sioux (Lakota and Dakota) constantly waged wars against the Pawnee and Crow tribes. As the Sioux pushed westward and southward onto the Great Plains, they took over traditional hunting grounds and displaced these established tribes.
  • The Comanche and Apache Wars: On the Southern Plains, the Comanche fought fierce, prolonged wars against the Apache for dominance over territory, buffalo hunting grounds, and Spanish trade routes.

Yes, the Europeans were violent and warring for thousands of years.
so were the so called indigenous people of America !

Yes, the indigenous people of the Americas were humans just like the Europeans and fought for much the same reasons that all humans conduct war on each other.
Which doesn't prove that Columbus discovered the Americas, since they were already discovered and inhabited when his dumbass showed up.

lol ! discovered it for the "so called" modern world of the time ..

Judging the past by today's "moral" standards makes everyone from Columbus's time, no matter their skin color, look like evil douchebags.

Columbus was tremendously brave man as he stood up to the Eurotrash elite of his time whose scientific consensus was that the Earth was as flat as a pancake and he was risking sailing his ships, the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria off the edge and into oblivion.

The greatest nation in history. And you guys are ruining it. We have self-reflected since the mid 1960's. Most problems with race, culture and religion should be diminished in a huge way. Yet you keep it alive. If you sincerely believe it, then go after the ones who have actually screwed with others for no legitimate reason. Instead, you play dangerous games and innocents suffer.

but he was not Italian American.....

Of course, Columbus was Italian, and that's why the libs hate him.

That's the whole purpose of erecting statues to Columbus, to honor the first Italian American and his tremendous legacy.
YOu know that whole story has proven to be bullshit, right?

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Trump administration announced the restoration and reopening of Columbus Circle, the park located outside Union Station, on Thursday.

The restoration of Columbus Circle included cleaning up the monument, fixing the grass and turning the fountain back on. The fountain had previously been off since 2007. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy attended the ribbon cutting for the project spearheaded by Trump’s task force. The task force is focused on making D.C. safe and beautiful again.

Comment:
It is sad seeing what the far left had done to Washington DCs statues.
