Back in 2018 Florida also voted to get rid of this archaic law. Unfortunately the change to permanent daylight savings time has to be approved at the Federal level and all ever that happens there is just bickering and bullshit.

This year U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio has introduced a Bill to make it happen but my bet it it will go nowhere.
