Rare, but not unprecedented.

Experts: Taser confusion errors like Daunte Wright shooting are rare but avoidable

When Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, police officer Kim Potter allegedly mistook her service weapon for a stun gun and fatally shot an unarmed Black motorist Sunday, it was at least the 16th such “weapons confusion” incident in the United States since 2001

hunting accidents are avoidable too------but they happen. They are not called "MURDER" Gun accidents as a GENERAL CATEGORY ----are kinda
common. Accidental discharge, ----gun falling into
the hands of a child-----and STRAY or even RICOCHETED BULLET. Where there are weapons---there a accidents------for those who do not know---spend some time in a busy hospital emergency room

Gun accident are like most other accidents, usually a byproduct of poor training and self discipline.

Or maybe the Police need a better non-lethal weapon than a Taser. A Fucking dart with a wire attached to it with a range of 10 feet? Are you kidding me, is this 1960 or what?

Easy solution--get rid of the tasers and start shooting criminals again. Atleast they would know they were going to be shot and might be better behaved.

Why? The taser wasn't even used.
Because this is just the latest in a long line of problems with Tasers. Give the Cops a better alternative than that antiquated system that still looks TOO MUCH like a gun. It fooled the cop this time. It also led to the death of the guy who took the Taser from the cop, shot the Taser back at the cop which drew the fire that killed him. This is 2021 there are better alternatives.

A gun has 4-5 times the mass
I just don’t get how you can screw that up

Too many were killed with night sticks. The taser was a non lethal replacement. As is pepper spray, rubber bullets and bean bags. All of which are objectionable today. Face it, dirt bags just don't want to be arrested.

Yes but she still is guilty of his death and that is an easy involuntary manslaughter
