Congress cannot put our nation at risk by allowing Santos to sustain access to classified information or appointment to any Congressional Committee. impeach him or make him resign NOW

The George Santos file gets curiouser and curiouser
Unless, of course, you've been conned...or grifted.

For example, there is this reportage out of his local Long Island newspaper, The Oyster Bay News:

---------------------------------------------------------

"Disabled Veteran: George Santos Took $3K From Dying Dog's GoFundMe

Two New Jersey veterans say George Santos promised to raise funds for a lifesaving surgery for a service dog — then disappeared."

"A veteran's charity gave the pit mix to Osthoff, a disabled veteran who was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 2002, he told Patch.
When Sapphire developed a life-threatening stomach tumor, Osthoff, now 47, learned the surgery would cost $3,000. A veterinary technician took Osthoff aside and told him, "'I know a guy who runs a pet charity who can help you,'" Osthoff recounted.
His name was Anthony Devolder, and his pet charity was called Friends of Pets United, the vet tech told him.
Anthony Devolder is one of the names that Long Island Rep. George Santos used for years before entering politics in 2020. Santos faces multiple criminal investigations after reports surfaced that he fabricated much of his resume during his congressional campaign. Many Democratic and Republican lawmakers on Long Island are calling for him to resign.

Osthoff and another New Jersey veteran, retired police Sgt. Michael Boll, who tried to intervene to help Osthoff in 2016, told Patch that Santos closed the GoFundMe he set up for Sapphire after it raised $3,000 on social media and disappeared."

Now, I'm not here to judge.....either Santos or the veracity of the story.
As Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan have recently said in interviews.....the worthiness of George Santos is up to the voters of his district. It's not their call as leaders to judge a fellow Congressman in their Republican caucus.

But none of that should necessarily stop readers here from judging.
So you be you.

He got two committee assignments.

It would be great if in one of them they called him George Santos and the other they called him Anthony Devolder

Seriously, how long before the NYT starts referring to George Santos and Solomon Peña as "White Hispanics"?

Whatever you think of them, our media ought to be impressed by the growing diversity of the Republican Party.

Indeed, it should come as no surprise that along with the ongoing invasion from Mexico comes all aspects of Mexican culture, including the popular tradition of settling election disputes with guns.

Even the movie 'Braveheart' reminded us of the ancient English custom of first overthrowing a given region militarily and then raping the women on their wedding night in order to repopulate the region with Englishmen. Mexico didn't need to overthrow us militarily thanks to the Democrat Party (and too many Republicans) refusing to enforce our Southern Border, so it's so much easier for Mexico (and every other Central and South American country that is accustomed to voting for people like Hugo Chavez) to merely waltz over the nonexistent border and transform America into a more nicely-furnished version of themselves. Why bother yourself to fix your own country when it's so easy to get into a much more plush zip code just by walking? Especially when half of America's elites are cheering you on and thanking you for the 'diversity' you bring.

As Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan have recently said in interviews.....the worthiness of George Santos is up to the voters of his district. It's not their call as leaders to judge a fellow Congressman in their Republican caucus.

Hmmm...

Yes it is, as with a 2/3rds vote a member can be expelled. Such a vote will not happen unless leadership allows the vote to be taken.

It would be very easy to make the case that Santo's has violated campaign finance and House ethics.

The claim that only the voters can remove him is false. The real reason Speaker McCarthy won't allow a vote is the very narrow majority of the GOP. Expelling Santo's means the loss of a vote, and the only way to replace a Representative is through a Special Election and McCarthy doesn't want the seat to go back before the voters.
