Talking to doctor friends, they tell me that if you want to get Covid, there is no better place more likely with less protection for individual people to stop a virus from spreading than a nursing home. They simply are not designed or set up to operate like isolation wards, otherwise, no one could afford them. If you send an old person there, you are sending them there to die.
