When criminals want guns they can and do get them....even in the most gun controlled countries in the world....

Surveillance footage shows Sedat Meric turning his gun on police officers from the National Crime Agency. Meric approaches the West Green Pool Bar in Haringey, north London, and shoots three times into the venue. The NCA officers identify themselves and Meric fires in their direction until he runs out of ammunition and gives himself in. Meric, 25, from Tottenham, and Oktay Ayanoglu, 22, from East Finchley, were convicted for possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life

Police name London shooting victim and arrest man on suspicion of murder UK news The Guardian

A man shot dead in a London street has been named by police, who have also arrested a man on suspicion of his murder.

Sebastian Jamal Hyman-Knight, 21, was found with a gunshot wound in Battersea, south-west London, on Thursday night.

He was rushed to hospital, but died in the early hours of Friday morning.

It goes to my continuing point.....Britain, and France and Europe have lower murder rates than the United States without guns.....their criminals do not use guns because they chose not to use them, not because they can't get them....they can and do get them when they want to use them......

London police seize large haul of firearms UK news The Guardian

Police have seized 30 firearms including assault rifles, sawn-off shotguns, an Uzi sub-machine gun and a Thompson machine gun in one of the largest arms finds recorded in London.

The huge arsenal, which included a large amount of ammunition, was found at an address in Waltham Forest, east London, after Metropolitan police officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday morning.

Wait.....I thought they didn't have gun crime in Britain.......but my point stands......

The shopkeeper was seriously injured after trying to defend himself against one of the men, who was carrying a shotgun. The Metropolitan Police are offering £20,000 reward for information on the two suspects, who have not been found

Puppy farmer jailed for at least 25 years for double murder UK news The Guardian

An 82-year-old puppy farmer has been jailed for at least 25 years for murdering his partner and her daughter in a double killing on his dog farm in Surrey.

John Lowe was told he would die in prison for shooting dead Christine Lee, 66, and her daughter, Lucy Lee, 40, at Keepers Cottage Stud near Farnham, Surrey, in February.

The judge, Mr Justice Singh, sentenced Lowe to life in prison with a minimum term of 25 years alongside a 10-year sentence for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
