*Crank Up Other Electrical Gas Fired Turbine In Fort Worth!*

Sorry bout that,

1. Being hand cuffed by the pollutionist is killing people with freezing them to death.
2. This lack of action will get those who want it.

Tinfoil hats blaming frozen wind turbines but the truth is a lot of power plants that were shut down in September due to low demand are still shut down. Reason..more money can be charged for limited power supply.

But the thing is, if the water source for a generator powered by a steam turbine is frozen, it's only about as useful as a wind powered turbine when there's no wind.

Bottom line is that if EVERY power plant was on line right now there would not be the massive blackouts Texas is now experiencing. Blaming Eco-friendly power sources like wind turbines is a red herring. Power grids are deliberately operated on a ragged edge between having just enough power to meet demand and blackouts due to over demand. When power gets scarce profits go up. There are several power plants shut down right now.

Hell in our camp in NH we had a wood burning stove in the fire place. Just in case we lost power. Heated much better than the fire place ever did. Hell mom could cook on the damned thing.

None of us would have frozen to death.

The folks in Texas should have thought ahead.

The United States a couple of decades ago was presented with a plan to harden the electrical grid for 4 billion dollars. That means no enemy attack with EMP could destroy us. And even if limited nukes we could quickly rebuild because we would have power. The Federal government has done nothing. Since you are passing the blame on this issue.

Passing blame??..just making a point that power grids are operated to insure profits (high demand). Rolling blackouts are built into the system for that purpose. Sometimes they go overboard like Enron did and get caught and sometimes unforeseen events, like the recent ice storms, make it happen before it's 'scheduled'.

1. I'm sure you are on to this already.
2. But the same folks who say we have global warming, set into place green energy here in Texas.
3. Making it illegal to fire up our steam turbines, all that steam being put in the air is scary and looks like smoke to them.
4. So many years ago they started that, and now we are seeing its true outcome.
5. But at the same time I'm sure I'm not telling you something you didn't already know.
6. We have plenty of capability to heat up this nation, coal fired power plants, its many that have been shut down.
7. I guess nothing matters to a hairy eye ball global warming type.
8. Some ones granny is freezing right now.
