CoVid - shaming

We’ve all seen it, the public shaming of people who wear face masks, keeping social distance, etc... the people asserting COVID is no worse than the flu. And then they get CoVid. Or a family member gets CoVid. And there they are back on social media asking for thoughts and prayers . But what they get is a healthy dose of public shaming .
I wonder, if you shame others for following cdc guidelines and flaunt those suggestions and then end up sick, is turn around really fair play ?

Nope. They shouldn't even be getting medical care for it. Fuck'em. Let them die and raise the average IQ in the US.
After reading the replies to me from these folks, I’m slightly inclined to consider that however they are ignorant albeit very angry fools. And I’m thinking they are just having fun trolling the Newbie

No, it’s not ridiculous. You are a triggered snowflake . It was a very simple question. And if y’all had read the link article, it would have known that most agree any medical shaming is cruel.

That depends on what you call shaming. Asking a person to wear a mask before entering your store, crossing the street so you do not have to walk by people that are unmasked, is not shaming. It's common sense.

Scolding people for not wearing masks or social distancing is shamming and IMHO, it should not be done for two reasons. First and most important it is not likely to change behavior and you just might get into a violent confrontation. People that routinely do not wear mask do so because they feel it's their right or they're following the presidents words and his example or they just don't really care about infecting others. In their case shaming is not going to do any good

Where I live people take wearing mask and social distancing seriously and the result is a pretty low infection rate. I would say compliance is about 90% for adults. Non-compliance is mostly young people, kids and teens.

you were doing so good right up to the time the TDS kicked in and you made it about trump,,,

Yeah really, this troll should be banned.

One of the things I like about this forum, compared to most, is that we don't generally ban people because we don't like their opinion. When someone comes along who is as whacked-out as -Gemma-, we don't ban her, we treat her instead with the mockery that she fully deserves, and that's generally allowed here, more than on most forums as well.

If you believe that any of this is, or ever was, about protecting anyone's health, then you are as stupid and as deceived as -Gemma-.
It’s absolutely about health/safety for millions of people. Not everybody has your top secret insight about the hiden deep state agenda and they see friends and family members getting sick and dying from this disease so you bet your ass they practice Trumps safety protocols and expect other good Americans to do the same. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you are acting but unfortunately I don’t think you are capable of feeling that way.

You've just proven my point. You are so damn stupid, so ignorant, so gullible, that you truly, sincerely believe the lies you have been told about the #CoronaHoax2020, without any thought as to questioning them or the criminals responsible for telling you these lies.

You're exactly the sort of useful idiot for whom these lies were created, in the first place; eager to sacrifice your freedom, your prosperity, and even your ability to support yourself—along with everyone else's—just to please your masters.

…but I follow them in public not because I’m scared of getting sick but because I want those around me to feel safer. It’s amazing that we can’t be unified in that effort.
...but because I want those around me to feel safer.

And there you have it....It's not about whether or not the masks are actually effective, it's about your feeeeeelings.

Piss off.

That truly says it all.

That's as much as an admission that he knows damn well that the masks do nothing to protect anyone's safety or health; he's just complying in order to support the lies, to help people fell comfortable in the lies, rather than facing the truth.

There's a quote I came across a short while ago, relevant enough here, and compelling enough, that I think I'll go to the unusual trouble of hunting it down.

Here, it is…

“The purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.
A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.
—Theodore Dalrymple—

I came across it, quoted in this article, which is, itself very relevant here.

The Case for Masks, School Closings, & Social Isolation Just Collapsed!

The list of practices no longer having any conceivable rationale includes:

  • Closing down schools.
  • Closing down gyms, barber shops, or any other businesses.
  • Limiting the number of patrons allowed in restaurants or other businesses at one time.
  • Mass testing for the COVID-19 virus.
  • Putting healthy people in quarantine.
  • Keeping a distance of 3, 6, or some other arbitrary number of feet away from healthy individuals.
  • Healthy individuals with no criminal intent wearing masks when it’s not Halloween.

It’s a discussion forum. I’m trying to discuss. Unfortunately all the orange assholes here are playing troll - the- rookie
you don’t want to discuss then leave and find another op

What causes you to have the delusion that as a newbie, you have any standing to tell any longstanding members of this forum what threads they may or may not participate in?

Yes complying for the health and safety of our fellow Americans. Wow, you can’t be this dumb can you?

Yet, you've as as much as admitted the contrary…

Don’t get me wrong I’m sick and tired of the masks and shut downs but I follow them in public not because I’m scared of getting sick but because I want those around me to feel safer.

I think you need to decide which tip of your forked tongue to speak with.

And yes common sense and science tells us that masks reduce the spread of particles coming out of our mouths thus reducing the amount of virus being projected by those who are carrying it.

Common sense tells any sane person that a porous mask with fifty-micron gaps is not going to do shit as far as obstructing the passage of a 0.05 to 0.2-micron virus.

To believe otherwise is as stupid as believing that a chain-link fence can protect you from mosquitoes.

It's all about the Trump. The only reason we are discussing the need to shame people for not wearing masks is because Trump has been waging a war against mask wearing, mocking those that do and has turned unmasking into a sign of Trump support. Approach a Trump supporter and suggest he wear a mask is likely to turn violent.

The three countries with the worst response to coronavirus are the United States with 209,000 dead, Brazil with a 141,000 and India with 94,000 deaths. One thing these countries have in common is their resistance to mask wearing. In Brazil, President Bolsonaro, a strong ally of Trump routinely mocks people for wearing masks, has forbidden mask wearing in public buildings, and scorning people for not wearing masks is likely to get you arrested. In India, goverment officials are divided on mask wearing claiming they are unhealthy, a mark of slavery, and unnecessary burden on the people. By contrast, two countries that have been the most successful in controlling the virus, South Korea with 399 deaths and Japan with 1540 deaths have governments that widely endorse mask wearing. Government workers at all levels are required to wear masks and public service commercials and signs encourage mask wearing. And in these countries refusing to wear a mask is likely to be met with shaming.

And Masks at a Trump Rally are about as common as Elect Biden signs.

Like you making up bs proven lies that has been debunked and blatantly ignoring them is showing respect and then whining about it for people attacking you for making up lies, grow up kid.

If the information in -Gemma-'s profile is to be believed, she's fifty-two years old. One who hasn't grown up by that age is almost certainly never going to.

So with just one percent dead that's 3.4 million, which would exceed the number of service men lost in battle in every war the US has fought. And quoting Trump when asked about the current staggering dead toll, he said, "It is what it is". I wonder if 3.4 million would elicit any more empathy than 200,000.

its clear you cant understand the concept that some people arent as controllable as you and can make decisions for themselves,,,

thats where the TDS comes into play,,,

Anyone who continues to believe these lies, to defend or promote this nonsense, or to mindlessly comply with it, deserved to be mocked, or worse.
So, you're saying it's ok to mock those misguided Trump supporters who refuse to wear masks.

I'm so fucking sick of the Mask Nazis
When you get COVID, would it be okay when someone says, Good! You deserve it?
They get whatever they deserve, too bad for their loved ones.
it was a topic question. You don’t need to take it is personal.

When you do this much to destroy our basic freedoms, as well as even our ability to make a living, to keep food on our tables and a roof over our heads, then it is personal.

Talk to the senate about this, McConnell.
the intense level of hatred on here is almost unparalleled to that on any other forum ive been part of; and I’ve been toe to toe with plenty of trumpists.
but here ?! I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and will concede for now that they are just showing off for the rookie and they will settle down in time.
Eventually you’ll get tired off the constant ass beatings you have suffered from us and well leave like all newbie trolls do,hee hee.
At least you admit you and your little friends are trolling like the assholes you really are. Props !
Comedy gold that you think we are trolling and that we are the assholes, classic, trolling is evading evidence that this is a hoax something you excel at,so in your own words YOU are the asshole.hee hee.

Your the only fucking troll here newbie.
No, that is factually untrue.
i joined this discussion forum in good faith , looking to branch out from the other forum (s), at the urging from a friend. My intro post was amusing. This, my first op, has been largely your friends trolling me. But, I get it. It’s the right of passage .
Yeah right,I’ve heard that line from Your kind too many times to remember.i have never met someone over the net who was not arrogant enough to admit that they have been proven wrong knowing they can hide behind the computer and make up lie after lie and evade facts and never address them,a common trait with you dem lovers, you seem to a clone of Penelope.lol
Wait, you call me a fucking troll and now you want to argue facts
lol
oh hun, you are a special kind of trumturd
Your the one that won’t argue facts so yes you are a fucking troll, all you keep doing is whine and whine in every post acting like an innocent victim after you get insulted back after you insult people first, same as penny troll, you have reading comprehension problems the fact you both evade my facts that I did not even vote for trump the first time, again,we’ve seen your trolling kind come here and go a thousand times, you brought nothing new to the table that has not been throughly debunked hundreds of times here In the past six months, your obviously a troll just seeking attention.not going to play your game anymore,I’ve given you too much attention that you seek already As it is.

Bob Blaylock debunked your conspiracy crap theory in your op With his very first excellent informative post with his first post he made, the best damn post on this thread that this is a hoax and what it’s all about, you cowards as always, evaded hisfacts cause you have no interest in pesky facts,a common trait with you brainwashed dem loving trolls, have fun talking to yourself kid,not going to play your game anymore and give you the attention you seek.
