New variant is here in the US... And it could start this nightmare all over again...

Scientists have two big fears about the new variant, according to NPR.

1. They don’t know why it exploded in Brazil.
2. The variant has mutations that might evade antibodies and the COVID-19 vaccine, according to NPR.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, an adviser to President Joe Biden on the pandemic, told The New York Times that he is more worried about the Brazil variant than the UK or South African virus. He suggested that the current vaccines can defeat those mutations. But the Brazil variant might be more troublesome.

This variant is 10 times more infective and progresses at twice the rate. This means million of older people will die. this is not getting better.. And to think that it was the Obama/Biden administration that paid for this virus's creation in Wuhan China. The rate of mutation in this virus is about 3 times other RNA viruses, why?

But the P.1 variant does not give the clue to Zika microcephaly in Brazil, while the Delta variant (B.1.617.2) does. P.1 has the L18F mutation, as does Delta, but Delta also has an Alzheimer’s-like alanine-to-valine mutation, which is one link to Zika microcephaly in Brazil: A222V. The corresponding alanine-to-valine in Zika is A175V.
