I'll say it again. Deciding you are gay is your choice, not a right to be forced upon others. The Federal U.S. Code which is THE LAW OF THE LAND DEFINES what a MARRIAGE is.

If you are a gay couple and want to remain legally united, fine, but you are not married under federal law nor do you have the right to FORCE others to accept your lifestyle any more than others have a right to force theirs onto you.
