The Prime Minister has conceded the government won’t force Australians to download tracking software after it was viewed by many as a draconian measure to trace coronavirus cases in the community.

On Friday, Scott Morrison said he wanted to make the app compulsory if enough people didn’t sign up for it because at least 40 per cent of the population needs to be on board to make it effective.
But in a tweet this morning, he confirmed it “will not be mandatory”.
“We will be seeking the co-operation and support of Australians to download the app to help our health workers, to protect our community and help get our economy going again,” Mr Morrison tweeted.

LOL for a minute it was going to be mandatory.

Yeah, a compulsory tracking app. You can download right onto the largest mobile device known to man and shove it straight up your ass....

Why is it you people think what happens in Australia applies to the US?

Why is it you people think what happens in Australia applies to the US?

It doesn't, such as an affordable university fee system, a civilised, rational way to fund healthcare and a vastly superior unemployment insurance system, superior stimulus emergency spending measures and social welfare safety net.

We have stricter lock downs than most of the US, yet no where near the unemployment levels, desperation and food lines we are seeing in the US.

The tracking app isnt mandatory, but home visits to be tested and forced removal will be if Australia follows suit of the US. Ventura County sheriff announced forced removal of citizens with suspected Covid 19 symptoms (cough, runny nose) into quarantine. H6666 act was introdued into congress on 1st May Text - H.R.6666 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, And Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act It basically means you or your child can be forcibly removed if you so much as sniff. apparently Australia is next.
