It COSTS MORE to treat any covid patient, than a patient without covid. That is why the Medicare reimbursement and Medicaid reimbursement for covid patients is slightly more than a patient, without covid.

A covid positive patient hospitalized, had to be isolated, all nurses, doctors, and aids had to be fully dressed in personal protective gowns, goggles or face masks every visit which costs more.... New covid wings had to be set up....
